Flexo printing uses flying splice tapes to keep presses running at speeds. Sometimes multi-layered rolls of tapes may separate prior to use. Here we demonstrate how to correct a pre-separated roll.
Multi-layered tapes - - like flying splice tapes - - are an excellent way to quickly apply adhesive technology that provides exceptional productivity in the flexographic press room.
These tapes can sometimes be prematurely and inadvertently separated preventing the user from properly applying the tape. 3M 8387 technology includes a slick way to identify such a problem and eliminates user frustration.
