The 2nd flight of my new combat plane, She's good.. Bad wind day even tho it's blowing a gale, average direction, VERY cold.. But, It flew awesome, even in trying conditions, Bring-on summer.

I take the 1.6m home made up for a blast in the windiest conditions i have flow'n. She flew awesome!!..I , on the other hand..let myself get caught in a wickid rotor that pushed me to the ground..long walk, no damage, and flew again.

What size is the course
Hello there...the course is just made up (i made it even before i recieved the car, so mostly just a good guess)...it suits the X43 pretty good ,..so maybe 1/43 size
I want one but 115$ is kinda steep
hey @blakesupra4440...it is well worth the$$ in my opinion..im in NZ so the shipping is a killer, but so is shipping anything else down here..the X43 is awesome on its spec's metal gears steal rims light kit etc, and an awesome tx too..well worth it!

yes sir...1/43 scale course,...funny thing is i made the course while waiting for the X43 to be delivered,..had no real idea of the size of the actual car, but did allright i recon.
The more videos I watch, the more I notice that I need this thing in my life

naa sorry dude,i didnt film it,...just boxs, cardboard, foam board, a can of expanding foam and a bag of kitty litter and spray paint..anything is possable
i am planning to buy this rc, maybe next week, and i am building my own course too, thankyou for the inspiration.

Hiya Mike, does the gun turret traverse as well? Did you add the MG firing, or is that built into the model?
Hi Jo...yea it turns, goes up and down, an fires little bb's...metal tracks and sprockets it's a bit of a beast.

SeaBreeze Close isn't what it used to be before February 22nd, 2011 But I see at least two Tundra were flying in Christchurch today. ;-D
Do you need to set the CG to get the float onto a plane in the water? See if you can balance just before the edge where the float planing surfaces finish.
It got up on plane just near the end there, but its all the crud in the river...lotsa leaves/long grasses, gets caught on the rudder, which causes a weird bow wave, which the prop hits...don't think floats were ment to be a boat lol...is is fun tho!
That sneaky smile at the end! How about going out early in the morning and testing the floats on the dewy grass?

Nice build Mike. I thought the gorilla glue and fibre tape might have made for a tail heavy model, but your V tail flies just the bee's knees. ;-D
Still quite porky tho...I did fly it yesterday in lighter winds..about 30kph..was still good...but yes she's a little on the heavy side...lol

I had my A10 and my V tail Fusion..wind was soooo smooth, we were just laughing.
Had one of those moments. The 'Wicked Wing' wound up in the middle of a huge gorse patch. Very sad!

Tis only 1mtr..very light foam and just tape...cf boom, and Kevlar string for the spring pull system..127gms needs no wind...thermal challenge,...gotta be fun ;-)

What ARE you flying there Mike? I thought it was a Tundra, but the motor sounds WAY too deep for that and the cowl looks different. Love the sound as you come in to land, sounds like you are feathering the prop.
We were at the polo grounds..was a good stiff wind..and a few puffs sideways...prop needs a balance..prob most of the sound lol

Bit hard to see at 480p quality Mike. But I wish the weather at JB had been like yours last Wednesday. Holfuy showed 8m/s, but it was still air, even my DLG wasn't playing in the light air. Grrrr!
