This is my 2nd day playing the game. I'm happy with my performance so far even if it's only pubstomping. I love the game.

1) Mindset: My personal mindset is focused on surviving. Surviving allows you to get more kills and contest or intercept more objectives. To survive, focus on using stealth and relocating every few shots.
2) Strategy: As in all game, sniper should have a general priority target list. Here is mine taking in factor "How much is this Striker a threat to me" + "How much am I a threat to this Striker" + "How important is this Striker for the enemy team" from a gameplan + defensive stats point of view. Ordered from most to least : AQUILA - NARUKAMI - FALCON - PANTHER - SKYRAIDER - TRICERA - LUMINAE - PINAKA - STEGO - WELKIN - ALYSNES - HURRICANE - INFERNO
Here is Zephyr (n°1 Narukami pilot) hitlist: aquila pinaka luminae narukami falcon welkin skyraider panther hurricane stego inferno alysnes tricera.
note: unmounted alysnes jumps way up when possible as it instantly dies with no shields, 2 shots other wise.
note: This is only a guideline/rule-of-thumb. Your priority targets also depends on other factors like objectives, positions, game mode and specific players performances, team composition, strategy, maps etc...
3) Tips: Removing auto-lock on (C per default) and using Manual Aim will allow you to shoot grounded/immobile/slow targets without alarming them that they're locked on to. This should be used as often as possible especially dealing with Narukamis.
Your survavibility depends on how you use decoys and reposition. You should always dash and not sprint.
4) Mods: Mods are not relevant and random unless it's lock-on speed. Zephyr still uploaded screenshots with the "best" possible mods for Narukami in Mecha Break discord if you're curious to know
