I never get tired of watching this podcast
That first muskrat seems a bit peanuty.
Excellent video.
Thanks to those who help others.
I've been testing my 110 for the past 35 years, I can tell you that it will hold up to anything.
I have a buck Vanguard 192 my favorite for over 35 years .. but also I have a 124 frontier love the both would not trade them
I MISS YOU MY DEAR FRIEND. EVEN THOUGH WE TALK EVERY DAY, LOOKING FORWARD TO SHARING A FIRE AGAIN.
My favorite is the 103 skinner.
A 69 year old man up in Alaska back in 2000 fought off a Kodiak bear by stabbing it 5 times with his buck 110. It got off him long enough for him to grab his rifle and finish it off. Buck officially recognized him, probably sent him a nice new knife lol.
It's santa clause....but for men
That bag ain't dirty on my screen that bbag looks pristine. Would like to try one out but im concerned about how to get one up to Canada?
Cool knife.
Cool knife.
Love a good pocket knife ! My favorite is the muskrat and the trapper. I have an old timer muskrat and an old German Eye Muskrat. The German Eye is a big Muskrat, 4 3/4 " closed so fits my big hands better than the Case or Old Timer. I also have a 4 3/4" German Eye 3 blade stockman that I love. The steel in those old German Eye knives from the 60's and 70's is hard to beat.
I wish I could skin game
I'm on up in and those knives you have are classic there not made like them anymore
Great video of three everyday carry pocket knives and works of art, liked and subscribed
Ive got a 120 general from 83. Dad gifted it to me bc thats year i was born i also found a buck kalinga with an inverted stamp, made in the 60s
Y'all done with vids
my favorite is BUCK 102. Reasons (1) size: blade near 4" length, (2) small EDC fixed blade, (3) USA, genuine. (4) use: not for wood-cutting. You know what I mean. .. My 1-man opinion.
I carry the 119 when hunting,113 for EDC,or the 112 folder...
case CXX stockmen
ps they make adrop point i use as my camp knife
ive been carrying one sence the 70s i love mine ive skinned more deer and fish with this thing i love mine i got mine from my dad in 1978 it was for my 8th birthday ive replaced the shieth a few times the belt loops are the weekest part mine tore twice
Awesome review of an American classic. Solid 8 for me . Easy to carry and conceal sits snug right next to my wallet. Don't need the thumbstud just pinch the nail nick and flick the blade down it'll open easily enough one handed. Plus if I drink too much and lose it , it's not the end of the world. Use it for boxes , snacks , and thugs . 🫡🦅 8\10 for me .
I like the simple functionality this sheath represents….easy on the eyes never hurts💥💯Thank you very much you and Randy!!
I have the 124 buck in black that my dad bought for me brand new (as a set), starting high school, about 1977. I have the companion folder as well. the bigger knife is in mint condition, the folding knife is in excellent shape. I still have the original cases as well, the 124 is mint and the folder is still in good condition. I carried that folding knife for many years and it was used regularly. I have taken good care of it but it does show some wear. As I mentioned, these were given to me by my father who's been gone for some time so they have very sentimental value to me. I carry other knifes and keep these bucks in storage.
👍👍👍👍
Waterproof 😂😂😂😂... little man talks shit
I have a case muscrat now but for 30 yrs i had a buck muscrat 313 man that knife did alot now i prefer a case
Spelling is not your strong point Sport
Lol
A lot of what makes something special is the desire of the maker to make it special. When it's okay with management to cheapen it with a Made in Mexico sheath, their desire to be the best is questionable at best. I can't think of a single company in the US that doesn't rely on imported components or materials.
Don't have any ides how many pocket knies Ive lost
We live in a consumable world. Most people think about buying tent stakes. This is a great tutorial to save money
So sad we lost this legend during the pandemic, this man was a national treasure. Miss you brother, RIP
i bought a case xx 3 blade it rusted before i could get it in my pocket , Not even sharp , No more case xx for me
3x 119 3x 650(not the stupid tops version with ridiculous and ugly holes in the blade). 6x 110 1x 102 1x 105 1x 103 1x 117 1x 120 but no 124.......😕
It is a very good folding knife. I have 3 of them. But I do remember at the end of the date it is a folding knife.
I love the 124 it resembles the british army survival knife i am trying to get me one for yrs but buck 124 will fill the spot for i will get before the middle of next month thanks for the video
Must try the 103 Buck skinner knife ! Fixed blade great Shieth !
Get a quick draw Shieth for that Buck 110 !
I am fortunate to own a few of the Schrade Old Timers you mentioned. I drove myself nuts looking for a pocket knife or two. Great video. I also enjoy squirrel hunting and other small game. Aging knees make it hard to carry heavy loads. Subscribed.
I'm 71 now. My father carried that style "Old Timer" pocket knife with him from the time I was born. I still have it today 2024. I don't carry his I'm afraid of losing it. It's on my display self. I do use it to whittle with on the front porch occasionally. Same color as the one you're showing. Carbon blades not stainless steel. Easy to sharpen. I love it!
When my grandfather passed away, i inherited his usa made old timer 80t that he used to carry everyday. Now I carry a smaller buck 373, its the same 3 blade stockman style but its a lot smaller. I really like this style of knife, its just so handy, and it has 3 blades so once one goes dull youve got 2 more before you have to sharpen it.
i once had a "Rambo 3 bowie knife (taiwan special) made of surgical steel. 2 pound paper weight. Took it to 4 ppl to sharpen it. It WOULD NOT take an edge. Flushed $ 100. Down the toidy with that pos. I do love my Buck knives. ( canoe pocket knife, packlite max 3,large bantam orange camo lockback, Frontiersman bowie.) all are awesome. Have a great day sir.
Just got my first and I’m 53. 😃
I carry a Schrade Old TImer just like the one you showed. Great knife! I totally agree about the carbon steel. Keep it dry, sharp, clean it and oil it. Just lasts and lasts.
A strong trad. is better than an average mod. Safer, too.
I like the old timer
I love the congress and stockman. Especially the old USA old timers.
I just bought a buck 110 like I had in high school, at 63 years old and owning hundreds of knives I love this thing like I did back then. Truly a piece of art that’s great for everyday use.
