I loved when Wilkes Barre had a team back in early 2000s. Pioneers were fun and successful as far as the fan attendance goes. Can’t wait to hear more about it!!

Bring a team to Portland we have an old basketball arena just chillin waiting to be used on a regular basis. The team can be called the Portland Riots..😂 but seriously bring a team to Portland.

The Monterey Steel also cited being unable to return to the NAL due to an earthquake that year. I'm not sure how much that *actually* affected them, but that's something to think about

The Stockton Crusaders play AF1 team in the west region of the United States like the Washington Wolfpack and the defending Arena Bowl champions Billings Outlaws

The building has been open since 2005 as Stockton Arena before the renaming to Adventist Health Arena. Right now there one tenant and that is the NBA G League Stockton Kings

If the stockton Crusaders will get good in the first year. Maybe the AF1 might put another California city like Palm Desert

Competition is going to be rough going against the IFL

Looks like I shall be making some trips out to Stockton! Hope their parking area has security. With luck, some of their home games will coincide with Bay Area Panthers away games.

Bay Area was never going to let them join the IFL, despite/because of all the connections. Glad they found another way to move forward.

I hope this league sticks. Stoked to hear they are going to have teams in Canada and Mexico. That's awesome.

Looks like they're trying to dodge the liabilities of the AFL (i.e. debt). Not sure if they can do it, but we'll see. Rangers soccer club in Scotland did something similar a few years back.

Dog, I am fine with the basic info and like the channel, but you should prepare. Mispronunciation of the city nane of Shreveport (has along "e") isn't professional. A quick hit in the "Rouxgaroux" name origin, beyond the stylized werewolf logo is called for when most people wouldn't know. I did a quick search myself. Lastly, Shreveport is freaking rough - some if the highest crime in the country, in a state already at the top of that category. Low income, etc.That type of background information is germane to team sustainability. I say these things constructively, so please accept it in that spirit.

they had a team called the west virginia roughriders, they played from 2016-2021 went undefeated in 2017.

As an IFL fan it would be amazing if they joined the league. It’s far more stable than the NAL and AFL and the Miners are in an ideal expansion spot too

I think this league is the best fit for the Wheeling Miners mostly due to not as much of a power creep and a travel partner/ potential rival in Harrisburg.

Hey thank you for the great vid! I must admit that I thought they would fold before the season ended. The start to marketing and team building seemed lackluster imo. Boy was I wrong and I couldn't be happier. I've had season tickets for the Steelers for over 50 years (1972) and to be honest the product that the Miners put on the field is first rate for all the reasons you highlighted and you missed one...the drum line which also does a great job! Did I mention that going to a Miner game is a fantastic value. The entertainment level for less than 20 bucks is amazing. I truly do wish that more people would go to the games and support them. That will perhaps insure their sticking around for a while. No guarantees as evidenced by our former team which was also a powerhouse...undefeated and a blowout win in the league championship yet they bailed. These franchises can be very unstable so more support is needed. Social media jockeys complain there is nothing to do in Wheeling. That couldn't be further from the truth and the Miners are a perfect way to shut the negativity up for at least a minute! Go Miners!!!

Since they played the Avengerz, do you think they could possibly play the Ironmen? And if so, who do you think would win that? Would it be a blowout or close game?

since there’s no team in Ohio i chose wheeling as my team and off this season alone i’m hooked! Gonna try to get szn tickets next year

If/When they do move up next season, which league do you think would fit them best? And wow! That production value is definitely one of the best I've seen across all the Indoor/Arena so far. That's crazy for the place they're in. Hoping for their success in the future!
