Helped me so much in the shortest amount of time reasonably possible, thank you!!!
thank you so much
I wonder if anybody can explain if it's possible to connect midi the sale way, but then with the older version of SPDS with a td27 module ? The phone output patching to the module is already working fine, so that issue is solved.😅
Did you ever figure out how to do this with a TD-27? I just go one and im desperately trying to make this work
This literally told me nothing. How do you remove the tempo changes and have it warp to the tempo of the project without changes?
Well, at least it told you nothing in only 11 seconds rather than 5 minutes XD
Can you help me with TD27?
Hi!! Thanks for this video, it helped me a lot and I was up and running quickly even fixing the hi hat issue with your other video. However when I recorded something I could play with the click perfectly and when I played what I recorded everything sounded out of place!! Any idea how can I fix that? I have a Roland TD-02KV and recording via USB. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Literally perfect. You whoever you are are amazing thank you.
Fantastic smooth Drumming you would make the show for the band your great. enjoyed video it's a 10
thank you!
The definition of a “to the point” video.Thank you!
Thanks! Really useful for songs imported from Suno.
thank you!!!!
Nice job! Could you please share decibel readings from outside the room? I am hoping to do sonopan + drywall in my garage and wanted to hear a sound comparison if possible. Thank you so much
Great
Colin furzes one is better
It sure is. But mine is cheaper and easier to build!
I love you
You're the best
if i had these i would probably try and see how long i could last without falling
Thank you
I love you! Why are all tutorials not like this? But nooo.. they have to start with an intro that takes 2 ages
good job dude
Thanks!
hashtag Soundproof room..
Interesting, I didn't know you could hash tag on TH-cam. I just updated the description with a couple. Thanks!
I like these “tutorials” where the dude is just playing throughout the entire song without explaining a single thing…
I have a Roland TD11 and I followed your steps, for some reason logic does not prompt nor recognizes the kit when I select external Midi. Any solutions you might know of?
It could be your privacy settings. Try this: th-cam.com/video/l45SGCk0G9Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7aUMjPOnkCNmwIoX&t=185
HI, Has anyone done this on the TD 27? The menus are very different...
Did you ever figure out how to do this with a TD-27? I just go one and im desperately trying to make this work
This video also showed me you can also match the tempo of the project to the actual audio clip no matter how long it is and that helped a lot tysm
Yes, huge time saver! Glad it helped
How do I do this for the td27kv?? Same issue hi hat. And left crash. BUT if i play the hi hat and cymbal on the opposite side "ROLAND logo side" it works. What the hell happened? Had no issues previously until today.
Fuming he didnt hit the high note, but this is fire, sweet cover of such a great tune tho. thats talent i hope i have some day 🔥🔥
Thanks!! We had fun with this one
🔥🔥🔥
Where I connect the cable to the td-25 there is no mix ,,, tnx
I have the same question for the TD-25. Have you ever figured it out?
very well!
hey man should this work in garage band? I haven't got an option to click on the "drum kit" so I have no idea how to change the mapping options. so annoying
Same problem over here!
@@matthijsvandenbogaerde6567 yeah I have worked out it’s only in logic not garage band…if you want to use the full range of high hats and the different drum and cymbal sensitivities you need to use a VST plug in. I’ve been using native instruments studio drummer but there are other popular ones too. sounds great and I can finally quantize drums and have them sounds like a live kit. Once you get a plug in just google how to use the plug in with garage band…pretty straight forward.
@@matthijsvandenbogaerde6567Same!!!! Hi hat and left crash are out.
Thanks for the solution, that will help a lot of people. I wasn't sure since I haven't used Garage Band in forever
I'm Wales, UK. "Wish You Were Here". Good cover man.
Thanks!
👏👏
Dude this is fucking sick I love it man, gotta practice it later.
It's only fitting that their first daughter be named Stacy now.
Hi, is it possible to load in each pad as a separate track in Logic? So in this case 9 pads, 9 tracks? Ik hope you can help. Best regards, Jeroen.
I made a Roland SPD SX Pro With TD 50 Help Video. Have you ever had this problem before th-cam.com/video/3_IfOFo7K-k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3fhDAOOfTLrqHr7V
Do you know how to fix open close hihat mode notes in logic. Copying doesn't work. Helpful video.
I'm so glad i came across this that was insightful. but just a question or 2. I'm not doing a studio (BTW a fellow drummer here too) but trying to soundproof my basement ceiling for my game room which is also where i will practice on e drums. Is that SONOpan you used for the panels? if not what are you using and how well does it work? What's the concept of sealant? i know its to be used but didn't know about using it around ducts and gaps before insulation. and lastly is that better to put straps over panels? I was thinking panels over straps.
Hi, glad it helped! Yes, its sonopan. Seems like good stuff. The sealant is to fill small crevices between material, or run along edges. I put it where I had wood seams, sonopan seams, and into the small crevices between ducts/pipes and wood. I bought a firerated soundproof sealant called Green Glue Sealant and put it basically anywhere that insulation couldn't go (cracks). Be careful putting anything around ducts unless the material your applying can handle high heat. Putting the straps over the sonopan is to allow for cutting into the drywall to add potlights or fixtures without cutting into the sonopan. This way, you can install pot lights into the drywall and still have untouched sheets of sonopan above those pot lights. If you put the drywall directly over the sonopan, you will have to cut through both drywall and cut through the sonopan to add any fixtures. So if you don't have pot light or ceiling fixtures, you can just put panels over the straps and the drywall over the panels.
@@Fills.and.Thrills So did you go with 2 layers of 5/8 drywall afterwards? Looks like you did a whole dropped ceiling. I haven't done that but was going to go strapping, resilient channel, 2 layers of 5/8 drywall. I'm thinking fo ra few hundred bucks more, I might go with a layer of sonopan, 2x3 strapping, resilient channel and 2 layers of drywall. Drums are crazy loud!
@@Polentaccio My original plan was to do two layers of drywall, one 5/8 and one 1/2, with Green Glue Compound in between the layers. But I ended up doing only 1 layer of 5/8 because I hired a company to do the drywall and they just didn't get it... it was too complicated. 2 layers should give you better results if you're up for it. It would be a very heavy ceiling though so you'll have to verify if the channels can even support that much weight. I did a drop ceiling made from 2x4's which is super strong. Resilient channels will do a similar thing (create a gap below the joists), expect you wont be able to put another layer of insulation in resilient channels. With a drop ceiling made out of 2x4's, I have a layer of insulation in the joists and a second layer of insulation in the drop ceiling. So I believe the drop ceiling is superior to the resilient channels in strength and sound. Regarding your plan, I think the resilient channels themselves replace the strapping? So I'm not sure if you need both strapping and resilient channels. But I'm not sure, since I didn't use channels so I have no experience with them to share. I used a LOT of Sonopan though, it is great and totally worth it. Maybe for you, do insulation in the joists, then Sonopan, then resilient channels, then the drywall? What is the reason in having strapping and then resilient channels? Thanks for watching!
You don't need the words just the rhythm. Keep that shit up my boy
I love to see people doing what they love ❤️ 😊
