Atari 800 No Video Output Fix

I couldn't get any video output on my Atari 800, using the RF out. after some diagnosing, and with the help of the service manual, it turned out to be a faulty Motorola 14050b, Hex Buffer. Luckily I have two of these machines and could swap the chip out to test. this machine still has no sound, so I need to fix that next. Bit of a messy video - complete with my kids shouting in the background - of me changing the belts in my DCC 600. I made this because other videos I found didn't have any good closeups. apologies if anyone asks any questions and I don't reply as I'm not a professional TH-cam-er :)

Replace the green film caps with tiny little new plastic TDK box caps. TDK are super high quality.

@dazziep4468 I got parts from dccmuseum and restored DCC600 unit for my friend with a great success. Highly recommend.

hey! i have problem light meter worked all time and it is not possible to turn it off
7 Years late, but: You need to switch the shutter to "B" as this turns off the light meter due to the fact that the light meter can't choose the aperture to use as it doesn't know how long the shutter will be staying open for.
