Bronco Badlands on Drummond Island
มุมมอง 478ปีที่แล้ว
We had a group of 6 Bronco Nation members on a Drummond Island adventure for 2 1/2 days. Day 1 was a 1/2 day. We met for dinner at the Trailhead Bar and Campground for dinner. Then we went to a beach for an activity. Everyone was given a box that contained flint and steel fire starter kit, some shredded wood and some tissue paper. No one knew in advance what they would be getting and no instruc...

Too expensive, beyond effort for not even as good as LC or Nissan Patrol. So, going to be extinct very soon.

Real Broncos only have 2 doors you got urself a soccer mom car 😅
Broncos look dumb with the doors off..
No pressure when your 40-60k vehicle is on the line... LOL.
Great video guys! Great to know what my bronco is capable of.
@@DavidGrimwood-h9m thanks Dave!
Thanks for posting these videos in parts. You know I was thinking how genuine these Bronco videos are without the added pressure of making videos for a living and having sponsors to satisfy. Thanks again!
haha 152 subs dont get sponsors or revenue Go back to school Husker
@UncleFjester What are you talking about? I don't care if they have 152 subs or not, I still appreciate the no-nonsense video
Great content! When you decide to get 37s, did you get the 74well steering components and better tierods to support the much heavier tires? Also what lift kit did you go with for the Badlands Sasquatch?
@@husker_nation I have a Velocity Blue Badlands with Sasquatch package. I BDS KOH lift and the HOSS 3.0 steering rack for my 37’s. The cactus gray and Cyber Orange bronco have different lifts.
Husker_nation Mine is the cyber orange bronco. I’m on a Dobinsons IMS lift which is about a 3” lift and on 37s. Mine is non sas but I have added the front locking diff, and upgraded some parts to the steering rack. I have the vasher designs rock box and the broncbuster rack bushing and tie rod braces on my steering rack and it’s holding up just fine for all of this.
Thanks y'all for the info! Keep the good content coming 😁
I am the one with the Cactus Gray non-Sas Badlands. I was running the Eibach Pro 2.0 Coilovers with a 1/2" body lift. At the time, I had Buster Braces, the BroncBuster housing and bushing. I am now running a Vasher Designs billet rack housing with HOSS 3.0 motor.
Awesome video! Kudos to the doorless Bronco, that’s how i want to drive when i get mine. Btw, what roofrack is that and can you still lower the soft top without removing the rack?
Thanks! It’s the Gobi stealth rack. The rack articulates up and back and a strap holds it in place while you lower the soft top. You can only go all the way back with the soft top, not position 1.
Very impressed with that stock blue Bronco/ great video guys!
@@DavidGrimwood-h9m thanks! It was obstacle after obstacle. Including lunch we were on the trail for almost 12 hours.
Not sure if you’re aware or not but you’re not supposed to drive your vehicles out to the edge of Marblehead. It used to be blocked off by large boulders but boneheads winched them out of the way. I believe signs are up now ( placed there by Tread Lightly!). This is how trails get shut down. Believe me when I say that locals are pushing hard to do just that because of such behavior.
@@steved1681 I heard they shut it down this year. This was last year and there were no signs posted and no boulders blocking the trail to edge.
Will the black diamond 24 be okay here, and any setting I should tweak or modes to better the ride, first timer
@@jonathansantacruz5182 you will be fine with a Black Diamond there.
Looks great! Saw them and spoke to them at Supercel this year. They are joining us at Broncopalooza in July is anyone wants to see this thing in person!
Very nice, how much...
That articulation is insane! I love it.
Where is this tin cup trail located?
Luther, Michigan.
Awesome vid, looks like a pretty challenging trail!
It was a great trail and the scenery was fantastic!!!
Good job! Looked like you were getting hung up on the rear suspension arm mounts. I think someone makes a little tapered skid plate for them.
Glad I don’t own a ford it actually might break down on the trails glad I have my rubicon and not that shit
Jealous people make the best comments.
I have an F150, but it identifies as a GPW
These broncos have 2 many doors
Instead of telling them how to drive get in their vehicle and show them and then let them do it unless they are that blind and can`t see without your help as a guide.
You ain’t gonna make it because you’re going too damn slow balls to the walls…
43:57 looks like a job for the 2-door Bronco. I ought to give it a try after I get front and rear lockers installed on mine.
Great place to play with your bronco!
I went back 3 weeks after this video and climbed the steps at Marblehead. I’m going back again in September.
Mike: It was great to meet you and everyone else on this trip! I had a blast despite being quite sleep deprived. I’ve watched your full video a few times now. Thanks for putting this together!! -Josh (Henry’s son)
I have some of your in vehicle videos and conversations. 🤣 I went back last weekend and climbed the steps at Marblehead. 😎
I'm glad you didn't give up, and that you took your time and chose your best line. Had you aired down?
I was aired down to 15psi.
27:14 felt that one! Lol
LOL
2-door would probably be no issue
My non-Sas Badlands held its own against the SAS Broncos at the Austin Off Rodeo.
Great video. I’m going to head up there in a few weeks. Do you have a list of the trails you did in this video?
That was my first time there. Not sure on the trail names. Headed to Holly Oaks this Sunday.
Shoot me an email at broncobadlands at gmail dot com and I will email you the trails.
Bronco does it better,a jeep woulda made it up that hill lolol.
Still a little reticent to take my Bronco there...have some baaaaad memories of pushing a Wrangler a bit too far there a decade ago.
Nice filming Mike! Hard to believe this is New Year’s Eve with there being zero snow.
Thanks Patrick. I have a picatinny rail and mount for my phone. Yes….crazy there is no snow. The week before we had a blizzard and had 2’ of snow.
Awesome! It was a perfect day and conditions out there yesterday.
To bad we didn’t run into you on the trails. Next time we will plan it and head out together.
@@broncooffroad Sounds great!
Fun times!
Thanks Matt.
Holly Oaks is my favorite playground in Michigan! Hopefully you got you 4x4 fixed.
Did you have to take any air out of your tires?
I always air down to at least 15psi. I think I was at 13psi on this day.
Thanks for taking the time to film this. I want to go there with my f150. Looks like a lot of fun.
I love going to Holly Oaks. Went there 6 times so far this year. 2hrs and 15mins for me to get there.
Awesome footage. Best I've seen. Was out there this past Friday and destroyed new 4×4. Buy got home safe. Very cool stuff. Thks
Lol I'm the guy you said wasn't going fast enough 😁 (24:35)
You proved me wrong. Nice job!
How much did you air down to? Sand Mode? 2.3 or 2.7?
I have the 2.7 and I was at 10psi all the way around.
