New Clutch Perch Install + Fixing Broken Headlight | Part 2/2 Yamaha R6 Rebuild
Welcome to Part 2 of our bike repair series! In this video, we tackle a few more challenges: figuring out why the headlight isn’t working and getting it fixed, and swapping out the clutch perch to ensure we have a fully functional clutch switch.
But that’s not all-things took an unexpected turn when a stray cat wandered into the garage, leading us on a fun little side quest!

Hey man, I was in the Blue 46 M3. What @slowcarfastbeans said is on point. I too almost lost it trying to chase a car down before. Good learning experience and glad car is ok.

When you engage that switch does it also disable your break lights?
Nope, brake lights work as they normally should.
80mph is a really high speed to be initiating a turn-in at T5 without putting weight on the front tyres and while shortening the turn radius (turned in at 1/2 the width of the track rather than starting wide). It looks like you were fixated on the car ahead and trying to catch them so you tried to short cut the turn while also carrying too much speed. For T5, to use the entire width of the track, you should be close to the outside curbing entering T5. The car ahead looked closer to the proper line.
Ya after looking through my data, I realized that I was going way too fast for that corner. I definitely was fixated on catching up which I need to stop. I'll take your tips into consideration for the next event on the 18th! Thanks for the help, anymore tips for this track would be super helpful as well :)

Your tires are squealing due to the new asphalt that was just laid down. You can ignore it, everyone's tires are now squealing well before the limit.
Ah gotcha, i figured it was due to them not holding grip.
@@sleepzzz. Nope, you were well below the limit, don't go off the sound, you need to learn how to feel for the limit through the wheel and the seat. Once you get to fast tires they won't give any noise indication at all, even on this pavement.
