A spectacle lens is just a spectacle lens or is it? The truth is that there is a vast difference in quality of spectacle lenses. Most people have never considered this, and why would you? If an optician is offering you glasses lenses then they must be the ones that will give you the sharpest and best vision.... Or are they?

Good man.
You have a very good approach at explaining things, it is nice to hear from someone genuinely passionate about their field. Also, it is nice to hear from an optician who wears glasses!
My right eye gets on my nerves because in anything less than bright sunshine it seem blurry at all distances. My latest refraction came out at +0.50 -0.75 x 125. My left eye is virtually zero. Would I be wasting money on a pair of glasses, would they be able to improve the blur?
Looks great. Can't wait to see the new range (if you pardon the pun). Wishing all the best stay safe all at The Village Opticians.
