The problem I have with fishing a frog is being accurate. Even on a MH I feel the frog is not heavy enough to load the rod enough when casting to place the frog where you want it. Idk how anyone could use a heavy rod from my experience 😊

Caught first jig fish today it was small but I only fished with it for like 20 mins

The lake I live on and primarily fish is covered with cypress trees. Learning to cast to them and fish under the branches when fishing for bluegill and catfish. Has helped me to get better at bass fishing

I watched a video featuring a GOAT of bass fishing Ricky Clunn and he said one of the biggest mistakes he felt professional bass fisherman made himself included was the should have concentrated on mastering tge life habits and life cycle of the pray fish the bass ate most often in the lakes they fished tournaments in more than actually what the life habits of the bass because Rick Clunn said outside of spawning all else bass do is in his opinion influenced more by the pray species that make of thier major food sources than anything else Which when you think about it makes absolute sense

Great video. I think sometimes as anglers we fixate on specifically matching the hatch. Other than cicadas and some crawfish baits I like and use your approach. Give them what they're feeding on in the most natural colors I have with me

Oh I fished salt water all my life from bank too open water, I applied how I find fish in salt water to fresh water. We got too eat too right. My first bass was 4+lb

Live in Smith County right next to the Caney Fork, Center Hill lake/Dam, and Cordell Hull Reservoir 3 top notch waters not to mention Caney Fork is a trophy holding trout fishery year round no one fishes for smallies or bass in that particular water this gives me some theories now I need to dive deeper into the Caney Fork River I think it could hold trophies or the next record smallie.🤔 info on Caney Fork, the water comes from the bottom of Center Hill Lake 200' roughly at the Dam water is in the upper 40'-50's year round rockfish and crappies go in there to feed on trout/bait fish so why wouldn't smallies and other bass species.

When I’m fishing the backwaters off Lake Erie I always fish wherever the water is flowing from the lake. It’s always cooler and moving. And bass are always there.

Feel like knock off baits like the Nessie and the new boronco bug form Rapala are 2 of the most stand out examples of baits that just copy paste and try to steal profit from other companies. Not only that I think it takes away from the cool factor a little bit because before they felt rare and now everyone can pick it up at Walmart
