Being a Houston native I went to both WrestleMania 17 and 25. Had a blast at both, especially 17. Legendary weekend every time they come here

I remember watching this on MTV as an early teen and being sad that I couldn't watch WM. I somehow hoped that I'd be able to watch WrestleMania on MTV after this preshow. Like the MTV producers would forget to flip the switch or something 😂 It sucked growing up poor and not being able to watch PPVS so I'd have to watch Raw the next night for the results The internet era of wrestling fans are so spoiled, they can either instantly get the results with instant live updates or watch pirated streams. They also get Peacock for ten bucks a month. Back in the day it was like 60 bucks per PPV per month. That was a lot of money 20+ years ago, especially while being poor.
