One of Erlends 11'sec passes from SCC2016. Ended up with a best ET of 10.626 @ 213,65kmh during the weekend. Engine: Some sort of turbo nonsense

A 1776 or 1835 is all anyone really NEEDS.
I am considering doing a similar setup. Could you please tell me what you changed and what parts you used?
I don't think he responds to questions. If you want info search the Internet for JPM Mouse Engine. That's about a 1600 build with 180hp or something like that. This is not an easy build and relies on the use of super light pistons. This engine probably still has the original non-counterbalanced camshaft.
Wow it sounds like music to my ear how can I build my engine like that
I want to go for a ride
love it brother. those Kadron carbs.. killa
Hmmm I need this engine for my manx
Where I can get ported single port heads? I have a 1835cc sp and I want to increase power maintaining single port
That is insane bravo my friend
nice motor, no fan belt i see, what cam again?
Sounds absolutely insane, awesome
1776 psycho economy drive 😂
Beautiful. You gain that horsepower on wheel.?
No, that was converted flywheel HP. I think it was 178 at the wheels
I'd love to know the specs on this engine.
What cam
It's a custom grind cam from JPM in Sweden. Can't remember the duration, but it has a max lift of 15mm/0.59" with 1:45 rockers
what are the specs of your engine? because it doesnt sound like a vw boxer anymore and it revs very high
1776cc, Italian IDAs, VW 043 heads heavily modified by Johannes @ JPM, Titanium valves, JPM OTEVA90 springs, JPM Raptor camshaft, 010 distributor. Three step CSP/JPM Wasp header. aprox 12.5:1 compression th-cam.com/video/0aUjkTd5rWo/w-d-xo.html
Europe has lots of high numbers on the dyno with also high numbers on the track.
Engine size
83 hp on 1600cc is so awesome👍
Wow, awesome. I didn't see clear enough the carbs?
Carbs are Kadron with a large velocity stack on top. No filters.
@@tommelopp Thanks
Most of the 1776 ive seen are in the 90 to 110 range. So where did the extra 100 horses come from?
Mostly from the extensive head work, matching cam and high compression.
What heads are you running to get over 7k rpm’s on a 1776 😐
Welded and ported original 043 heads. high compression and matching cam + light valvetrain helps.
@@tommelopp that’s wild I just put a 1776cc in my 71 super beetle I got some big valve dual port heads I believe 35.5 X 40 with single high rev springs n I don’t wanna push past 5100k rpm might have to look into that
043 heads Ported 40x37mm? Cheers
I want the same engine it's a tiger !
What jettings you running ?
sweet
So is that a 69mm crank or is that got one of those crazy JPM destroked cranks and large bore pistons?
It's a traditional 1776 with 69 crank and 90.5 pistons.
the de stroked his w/1641cc engine one...

Awesome Trans ratios brother
@@tommelopp i wanna make a 2332 ci whit a amr500 chárter, my goal its 200-220 hp, somebody can help?
Can you send me your email and give me more tips in Bulding my new engine thanks
Great videos share and talk more about your engines
What cam are you running?
It's a custom grind JPM Raptor Cam from jpmotorsports.se. approx .590" lift with 1.45 rockers. Can't remember the duration.
it's a damn good bro, not much one can make this....JPM Raptor 100 cam?
Wow one very hot 🔥 🪲 beetle.
So how much hp is lost at the back wheels,
If my memory serves me right, in the latest configuration (stiffer valve springs and different exhaust), it dynoed 189@7900 at the wheels.
What is the valve size? 41x35mm?
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in EU :-( In Germany the Green party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one state operated peoples gas station per city. From 2027 on in the EU certain car parts will be banned as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine lubricants....
Muito bom parabéns Goiânia brazil
That number seems a bit much.
sic
Wow that’s a work of art love it
01:00 appears cylinders 3-4 lost some compression as a plume of smoke exits, keeping heads sealed is a challenge when the case is flexing, but sounds excellent another 1776 from 2014 th-cam.com/video/hgsjzTOm4EE/w-d-xo.html
So much better than blown head gaskets tho. Wonder if this had 8 or 10mm head studs.
Is the Belt on....I can't tell in the video?🤷🏽♂️
No belt. Using a power pulley, if i remember correctly it was around 185-187 with belt.
lots of hp , you gonna rebuild it again tomorrow ?
It has hold up great the last 4 years, no need for a rebuild. Thicker cylinders and 1"+ narrower engine helps on longevity. Light pistons, pushrods, valves etc also helps.
@@tommelopp do you build such engines for sale please. That's awesome power from 1776cc bug engine without using turbo.
Very nice. Which parts?
No fan belt? Dry ice cooling or just mad?
I'm going with MAD🤷🏽♂️
That made as much as my 2332 something is up 🙇♂️
Single port?!
Yupp, single port. heavily ported heads, custom manifolds and matching custom grind cam. aprox 11:1 compression
That's a lot of HP never before seen so much
Happy with the result. Best et on the quarter was 14.8 @ 88mph. Fun little engine
@@tommelopp året etter kjørte jeg 14,5 @ 145 kmt med samme bil og motor ;) har motoren fortsatt og den står nå i 66'n. Håper å ha bilen på scc i år, vi får se.
Cam duration under 300 and lift under .500 😁
That's a crazy number what's the gas and compression ?
static compression is aprox 12.5:1, normal v-power pump gas 98 RON (93 US Octane)
My 2332 that runs 7 50s made that power when it was at 1935lbs
What's the engine specs
1776cc, Italian IDAs, VW 043 heads heavily modified by Johannes @ JPM, Titanium valves, JPM OTEVA90 springs, JPM Raptor camshaft, 010 distributor. Three step CSP/JPM Wasp header. aprox 12.5:1 compression th-cam.com/video/0aUjkTd5rWo/w-d-xo.html
Nice one Anders... i'd like to do the same. Are these CD150's?
Thanks! Yes, they are CD150s. Came with the empi/speedwell sprint kit. I later upgraded to kadrons. Not as good looking, but far easier to get dialed in.
@@tommelopp The trouble is the millions of profiles the needles have. Need to have an open wallet to get them really dialled in. The speedwell kit must at least be in the ball park. Did you manage to get the most out of them?
Impresive
Damn!!
no belt for generator/cooling blower....
Hmmm, that's a lot of numbers...
