How do u learn stuff by ear? I want to reach that skill too but don’t know how…
I think the more you learn and play different songs you’ll be able to recognize what someone is playing just by hearing because you’ve played something familiar to it before
Sometimes you can hear something and think that it sounds similar to a song you know so you try it out and find that it’s the same chords/notes

@seeringscaldingflesh Your playing sounded fine I think you just didn't match up the video and your playing 100%. It sounds like you are playing everything slightly before it happens in the song if that makes sense.
