Can this be done to a 2003 GMC yukon
@ismaellopez3860 yes, this is a 02 GMC. Any 99-06 vortec
@Modified1 thank you so much just recently have this problem
@ismaellopez3860 just make sure you go back with a quality brand of knock sensor. I've gone through 4 different pairs to find 2 that stay around 100ohm when hot. I was having a hot/cold problem. Ran fine until it got to operating temp then P0332 code and no power. The sensor would ohm in the 60's hot and 99 cold. So be sure the sensors are good, but this block makes it easy to change until you find a good set.
Sweet! Glad to see father, son working together.
@astorrodriguezlopez this was my 1st rebuild in 20 years!! We both learned a lot, and it works perfectly!!

That's going to leak
@jerrymcbeath3192 I am pleased to say that after more than 2 years, there are no leaks! I've replaced the entire headliner and double-checked every rivnut and antenna repair. The factory rivnuts are encapsulated on the ends, and the extra sealant doesn't let any water past the threads. Thanks for commenting on my video!
Bought my dad's '03 off of him last month and am changing the oil for the first time on it. This was super helpful, thank you!
This is a beast of a suburban. I like it way more than I thought I would. I'm happy to help, I didn't think anyone would watch this, but if it helped, I'm glad I made it! Thank you for commenting on my video. It really helps my channel grow!

Wouldnt wd40 eat away rubber?
@krzysiekv12 I'm not exactly sure, but I haven't had a problem yet. I also wear out a set of tires in a few years. The best thing I've found so far is the off brand baby soap/shampoo, the gold one. In the video, I was just using the closest slippery stuff I had.
@ thanks for the video. I have ordered myself a cheapish set too, a bit different balancer but hopefully easy to use
@krzysiekv12 The instructions are crap, but the customer service was great. Thank you for commenting on my video. It really helps my channel out. I'm sure you'll learn the balancer in no time. It's one of those you just have to mess with it a bunch things.
Where you get them rims?
@Masivao-z3p eBay on clearance, I paid $600 for the set, and unfortunately, they don't make them in this bolt pattern anymore. 20x9, and they also made a 20x11 too. I just bought the same wheels for my car hauler, so Vision still makes them, but last time I went to their website, I couldn't find 8x165.1 bolt pattern but they still make the Vision 390. That's what I did was get the part# off of Vision wheels and put it onto eBay and hit lowest price + shipping, and I got the last 4. Thank you for commenting on my video, it really helps my channel out!

This was me leaving high school in 1996 In my F body 1995 Z-28! I think the factory Goodyears lasted about the first oil change 😂
@@tammyforbes2101 lol, hell yeah!! Me too!
These burbs are beasts.
@Wicked_RotF30 I like mine way more than I thought I would! I've pulled ups, fedex, and Amazon delivery trucks and a 2500 diesel 4x4 lifted ram out of the ditches around where I live in SE Louisiana. The Amazon truck I pulled out was on a gravel driveway, but the 2500, 8.1, 4x4 in 4 low didn't even spin a tire, and when the converter stall tightened around 1500 rpm, they all came out effortlessly. Mine has been lowered 4/7 and looks like a 1500 and always surprises everyone! Lol, yep, love the Gangsta Burb!!

I have a 2009 5.3l that does not appear to have a connector for the knock sensors. Could they be hardwired all the way from the sensors to the ECU? Seems like they are. I would really like to relocate them.
The 07-13 style is what we went to on this '02 they were under the intake, now on the sides like a 07-13. I don't know if there's a harness connection, but we changed ours to be like yours from the factory. Where are you thinking to relocate them? I think yours are in a good place.
Why would my extension harness not be long enough? I ran it behind the head and by the transmission and it won't reach my passenger side sensor
We had extra on the harness we got off of Amazon. I'm not sure why yours is short. Both sides of our harness were equal length and around 4' you could also run the harness in front of the heads and down, they wouldn't be all up in the exhaust that way and might make it.
Is this 3 inch from stock pipes all the way back? This video has convinced me to get an x pipe in my 1500hd.
The stock pipe is a 2 3/4 inch. We went 2 1/2 after the converters. The 2.5 slips right into the 2.75 and welded it up!! 2.5 comes right out of the manifolds and the use 2.75" so when they bend it the pipe is 2.5" in the bends because they don't use mandrel bends from the factory. Thanks for commenting on my video. It really helps my channel!!
If you check the pulleys they had no lubricants or any ball bearing it is just pure metal against some plastic friction material, I did took the apart and add some grease on them. The pulleys also welded crocked. I also have no idea how to connect the limited switch and I'm an electrician. The instructions are very poor. These equipments are as cheap build as possible, but I think good enough for a very low use rate. Also the center plate that cover the hose and the cables was missing on my unit..
Yeah, I had to figure out a few things on my own with the broken English instructions and grease it myself too. Thanks for commenting on my video!
Man you've been doing a great job with the content. It's awesome to see someone working on real drivers, doing realistic projects, and still capturing the passion that drives us car guys every day.

@@Modified1 the best classic car videos have nothing but the sound of the cars and the atmosphere of the event keep up the great work
@willstansbury3747 I agree, just as long as youtube doesn't copyright me for having it in there. A lot of times, I have to put music in over a muted segment to fill in the quiet from a copyright clip, but otherwise, I'm not adding anymore music than I have to.

Can the knock sensors be screwed directly into the block or head without the billet bracket?
@jimgordon3206 yep on the back or front of the heads or with a few hardware store adapters on the sides over the manifolds 10mmx1.5 pretty much anywhere a 10mmx1.5 hole in the block is. Make sure they ohm properly at temp. I've had a few when hot loose impedance and throw a light
@@Modified1 Thanks for the prompt reply.
@jimgordon3206 thanks for commenting on my video it really helps my channel!
Isn’t there a spot on top of block for the brackets
@TRTR-ti6yv maybe they make one for that, we didn't look. We just bought the blocks from ICT for the under mount style. Sorry I'm no help with your question.
Did you have to drill and tap the block or did you use existing holes for brackets?
There's multiple 10mm x 1.5 holes you can mount to. Heads or block, but no drilling or tapping.

Ain't got no gas in it
@baldandbikes4373 I know right!!🤣🤣🤣
Hard to see but I didn't see any studs or bolts holding it down, did you bolt it to the concrete or leave it free standing?
@AnthonyDuran-l1f I bolted it down after the video. I didn't have any problems with it before or after. I wasn't sure where it was going to go in the video. Great machine, btw haven't had any issues.
So how was shipping I'm looking at one of these on Amazon the ad doesn't say anything about shipping. Did you go pick it up at a terminal or did it come to your door.
I picked it up at the terminal in Brookshire,TX. I live just north of New Orleans, LA. Fortunately, I have a good friend who runs hotshot, and he had a run going to and from Houston, and that made the trip happen.
Did the bucket and tire paste come with the machine? How about the brush for applying the tire paste? Thanks!
@kylepawelczyk163 the bucket did, but no paste or brush. I use baby shampoo and a paint roller 1/2 wrapped with electrical tape for a handle. Lol cheap, but works awesome!
@@Modified1thanks! I used to mount tires in high school and we used Hunter paste. That stuff is amazing and lasts a long time!
@kylepawelczyk163 Awesome, I'll have to remember that!! Thank you for commenting on my video. It really helps my channel!! These machines were cheap compared to the other on the market, and all 3, the lift, mounter, and balancer, have all performed flawlessly over the past 2yrs. Bought all 3 for $4600
@@Modified1that’s great! I have a Katool 11k 2 post lift which I love! And my tire machine and balancer are arriving today! I ordered the tire machine with the bead blaster, so we will see how well that works!? And I have the same balancer as you do. I appriciate your calibration video! That makes setup for me that much easier! Thank you!

Ah the life of a 4l60. Always out of the truck never in.
Just have to change the fluid every 30k and NOT run 35's or larger lol!!
Keep rocking these videos man
Thank you!! I'm out here trying to make it happen!!
Thank you for your video. I’m in the process of relocating the knock sensors on a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500HD. It has oil cooler lines on the driver’s side of the engine block. This doesn’t allow for that side’s bracket to be installed. ICT support has a few work arounds for this.
@MarkRussellDC-APC Thanks for watching! Good to know they have good support. These were tight to install on the passenger side. Also, make sure your new sensors ohm out correctly. I've had bad ones right out of the box, and have had new ones that when the engine reaches operating temperatures, they drop impedance, giving a false check engine light.
Лишние 😂😂😂
THANK YOU! I remembered someone did this on instagram and couldn't find the original video. Now that I have a Chevy, I'll be doing this when the new tires are done 😅
It's not a bad project, I'm doing a follow-up video on painting these soon. We had to figure out what color to go with vs polishing.
