I hate the big bump in the back of the head under the pony. I think you need thick dense hair like this woman to achieve the style she created. I have dense hair but it is pretty fine so finding the right ponytail holder is challenging.

my hair is extremely thick and curly, so when I put it up in a ponytail it's extremely hard to make it super tight and smooth and that bothers me so much. i hate when there's any bumps or when it feels loose in any way, i want it as flat to my head as possible. i'll have to give this technique a try

Just a tip, but don't ff thru the blow dry if that is the subject of the tutorial. j/s

What hairstyle would you recommend to a guy with three crown cowlicks?

I went to a wedding yesterday and it was pouring rain all day so I thought my curls wouldn’t stay and I would end up with frizz. However, I got home from the wedding and my hair looked exactly the same as I had styled it because I sprayed my whole head generously with hairspray. When you have to step out in wet weather I think THAT is when you should use the 80s approach.
