They were basically arguing that you should completely ignore the Feng, despite the fact that she was effectively giving herself up to you, simply because she was recently unhooked. You were in the right and I would've done the same thing

I find it hilarious the guy thinks basekit bt is for protection hits lol the bhvr even said that basekit bt was meant for ANTI TUNNEL purposes, the only time you should use bt as a protection hit is when the rescuer is injured

Welcome to playing Victim! Here is some information to get you started. Tip #1: When you start you are tied up. You have that minigame to get you off of it. During this time the Family members are not playing the game. They are still in a cutscene where whatever victim you guys didn't pick get sacrificed by Bubba. As long as you hear Bubba roaring and that chainsaw going you're still good. Now this getting yourself off the hook mini game is based on your strength rating. The higher your strength rating the more of that yellow bar goes up each time you press the button. The higher your stealth score is the less noise you make. Every time you make noise that hits that top bar, it builds up this invisible meter that you can't see. If it gets full you guys wake up Grandpa early and then the sonar starts. This is a big deal because until Grandpa wakes up the other two members of the Family can't go into the basement. Tip #2: Now, once you are free of your bonds you want to get some lock pick tools from those tool boxes. One of the starting perks that you can get, Tool Tracks, will show you where they are for so many seconds. You want to get one of those and use it to unlock a door. Then you want to refill it. You pretty much don't want to go upstairs out of the basement until you have two unlock tools. Another thing that you can do to farm experience points is you can run around the basement and lock pick basically all the basement doors. There are four of them, and they are worth 200 experience points apiece. Tip #3: Once you are out you want to decide which of the four exits you are going to go for. Every map has the same four exits although where they're all located is different. You have one exit where you open a couple of locked gates and you kick a generator until it turns off. This is based on your strength score. Then you run out the gate that the generator was attached to. The second one is pretty much like the first one except instead of a generator it's a car battery. And the car battery you press and hold the button to turn it off, and it uses your proficiency score. The third exit is you find a valve handle, which will be attached to a pipe - there's usually a couple of them around the map. You take that to a specific location, attach it and twist it and that begins to depressurize the valve exit. After 60 seconds the valve exit opens and you can just walk out of there. During this time if it's not fully depressurized the Family can turn it off. And the final exit is the fuse box exit. The fuse box requires an unlock tool to rip it open, but once it is you just slot a fuse in there, and then you do the fuse box mini game. The fuse box mini game requires you to add two fuses together on top and two on bottom. Each of those two fuses have to add up to the number in the middle - it's like this really quick math game. Once you do that you activate the button and then the basement exit down in the basement opens - it's that door who's lock you can't pick because it has a red light on it. That will remain open for about 45 seconds, so you have to book it back down there and run out the door. But, if you miss it you can always go back to the fuse box and reactivate it again, and you won't need another fuse or anything. Tip #4: Grandpa does his sonar based on what level he is. If he gets to 5, you can no longer hide from Grandpa and he reveals you even if you hold still. Stabbing Grandpa with a bone scrap will lower his level by 1. Tip #5: Taking that fuse showed you the fuse box in yellow because you have a perk called Intution. It is a great perk that shows you the fuse box location and then basement exit if it is still ticking. It also does this for the valve, valve handle, and valve gates. A bonus tip here is you can "reset" this perk's timer by putting the objective item down and picking it back up again. I do this whenever I see a random health bottle lying around. I hope all this helps!
