      It is because data that I am getting is in BCD i-e 4 bits to represent each number from 0 to 9 then if I have to write 12 in BCD it will be written in bits as 0001 0010 that is why I needed to convert it to decimal

      That other phone was a voice recorder showing real time changes in sound after reception. Phone that i used in this video for receiving FM transmission is Tecno Spark 7 as it has got offline FM, you can use any phone which has an offline FM receiver.

      You will need a phone which has got offline FM radio, only then you will be able to test it with your phone.

    This is a simple circuit consist of an audio amplifier connected to an oscillator then to antenna. There is no RF amplifier used to boost the RF power thus the range of this circuit can't exceed 30 meters in best cases. This is definitely NOT a long range FM transmitter.

      Yes exactly, I believe 30 meters is long enough for school projects or science fair or some course project, as long range fm transmitters may need to go through legal process before being operational depending in which country it is being operated.

      Set the receiver on somewhere around 90 on some unoccupied channel and tune it slowly using the capacitor and listen if there are any variations once you get variation then adjust the capacitor to that position.

      It is RTC DS3231, yes it uses a cell to keep track of time even when not connected or arduino is powered off.

      There are two ways to tune. 1. With capacitor set to some empty FM frequency on mobile which comes with Offline FM and turn capacitor slowly and listen for any variations 2. Move an iron rod inside a conductor slowly and again listen to some empty FM channel for variations. Moving rod inside inductor will result in higher output frequency so try to listen variation on channel above 100.

      Around 20 meters, suitable for regular academic electronic/communication project. For much greater ranges i-e in kilometers different transistors are used and circuit is also different, and there are also some legal obligations related to those transmitters it depends in which country it is operated and its duration.

      @@diyaramesh5334Set your receiver on some free channel, you will be hearing noise on that channel now carefully change values of variable capacitor and listen if any change in reception occurs if you tune it successfully you will hear silence or sound of your mic, another method to tune is to change inductance for that you will need to place core in your inductor which is made by coil of wire and then you will have to move for example thin Iron rod inside your inductor and again listen for variation on receiver.
