Make the little furnace minecart literally be able to pull 16 minecarts-with-chests for 5 minutes per bit of coal, 32 if you stick another one at the rear end, with the possibility of stacking 64 of them in advance, and give them all an exception on chunk loading/deloading by being its own little player-like actor until it stops. Send 32 inventories of stuff to your friend, fire-and-forget style. A dude on an Elytra can't do that.

i always stop playing after i get elytra, they should make it harder or not be able to have mending on it or something

Something I notice when I get an elytra is that suddenly everything in the world becomes less significant. Any cool terrain locations feel less cool when I know I can just explore a little further with my elytra and in little time I am somewhere completely new, perhaps even better than the last location. Go back to Beta 1.7.3 and after playing for some time, you'll feel how necessary minecarts and boats are for linking up areas. There was a feeling of conquest. Now, with elytra, if you haven't built much, no singular place feels as important because there is no need to build transportation infrastructure that will make it yours. I don't think the solution is to simply make minecarts faster. I still think the convenience of elytra is too great for most people, because even if other means are faster, elytra are fast enough. I think a solution could be to make the speed of minecarts more controllable, and maybe make them better for utility. For example, you make it so minecarts are chunkloaders, so you can transport items between far away places without having to do it yourself. It would also help to make them chain-linkable. Minecarts are annoying to deal with because of their inconsistencies in speed, so connecting them together would be nice.

There isn't anything stopping you from just not getting an elytra, or setting your own rules for using it. I personally don't use it unless I'm crossing oceans, needing to go back and forth between my base and a project, or if I need to cross a large gap in the nether or end. I think it's more engaging to walk through terrain as I'm exploring (rather than just fling over,) but at the same time it's convenient to be able to fly over if I need to. That being said, I wouldn't mind other forms of movement receiving buffs. Minecarts that automatically place rails from your inventory, for example, would make them more worthwhile when exploring.

ive been playing roblox for about 10 or 9 years now and I can definitely say the focus and style of the games have changed. I remember looking on the homepage and finding fun games to play everyday. Meanwhile, the website is pretty similar to how you described it now, which is why its hard to find good games to play nowadays. Although I wouldn't say its all bad as ive still found a ton of really fun games to play. The only thing is that the games are completely different from back then and what I usually see myself playing are more competitive games that are much higher quality than other games you normally find on the website. I just find its a bit difficult to find these games as it can be like finding a needle in a haystack and i typically find these games through social media.

Blud is sad because in a sandbox game, after beating it, people can use a quick and convenient method of horizontal and vertical transportation to quickly explore and move around their base and world, as well as just making the game more fun and making building easier? Minecraft is a sandbox game, if you don't like elytra just don't use it

You said so yourself: elytras already have a pretty big investment in order to get them. You need to 1) Find a stronghold 2) Beat the Ender Dragon 3) Venture across the outer End islands until you find a city 4) Hope that city has a ship All in all, it can take a while to get an elytra for someone who's playing by legitimate means. So once you have one, yeah, it totally makes sense to have them be really good. Otherwise...why would you even want one? They're rewarding the player for adventuring and exploring. Having a problem with minecarts is fine. Those have sucked as a transportation method for years. But that's a separate issue than the elytra. You can make minecarts (or even horses) better without touching elytra at all

Making a faster minecart would be the go to. Or just deciede for yourself not to use a elytra. I only was going to end in my runs tbh, I was always more busy with other things. I also love to make a rail-system. :3 Maybe make a faster minecart version. So you can have a slow and a fast version, whatever you prefer :3

To be honest, opinions are valid. But honestly I feel like it depends on a player. If a player hates elytra they just wont use it. If they love it but dont want it ro be op op, they may make that windcharge machine station to blast elytras in air and travel throigh stations that way. A little less but still op, trident and elytra and use bodies of water in order to fly. But for me? I love using other transport when walking near bases, connect bases with paths n so on. What I absolutle love about elytra is the fact I dont like exploring far in minecraft due to how laggy minecraft gets and slow with chunk loading. I love collecting stuff I just hate that player has to go so far to get those said stuff, so the only times I use elytra is mostly fetching those said items that are so exploring dependant. So honestly, I dont mind elytra as is. Serves me fine and it all depends on a player and howll they use it. Easy rocket elytra, trident elytra, station elytra, heck even build a tower then fly elytra or just dont use at all. Depends what kind of player is the player :]

u have to make it end first to even get it, which half minecraft players rarely do, i dont even remember last time we went to end on server me an my friends played on an even if we did we did for end fight called server done an reset

guys I have a problem, the endgame item in minecraft is better than its early game counterpart and is still outclassed by ice boat portal networks

I think the Elytra itself is fine, it's how easy it is to get which is the problem. My solutions, make minecarts faster of course, add an earlier elytra that can only glide (breaking when you use a rocket). Add more requirements needed to get to the end, maybe adding items needed to be combined with eyes of Ender to open the portal. Adding at least one or two new dimensions, and some more bosses. For example, the Wither drops a Nether star when killed. It can be crafted into a beacon, or it can be crafted with an eye of ender, with this special eye being able to be placed within the portal (but only once per portal) I know this sounds a little like Terraria, but the thing is. Most of the game is skipped past by the community in order to get to the end. I also suggest a "progression" switch within the world options that decide if the game requires you to get these special eyes to open the end portal or not.

I can relate to not being able to buy Blockland soo much. I wanted to play the hell out of that game but unfortunately I couldn't buy it, and so on a random day of playing games on a flash games website named XGen I saw an ad for ROBLOX and it's safe to say it dragged me in. July-ish of 2012 or so, ever since then I haven't been able to "stray" away from this platform, even with the lack of quality games as of now. It's true that I'm not playing that much of a variety of games on the platform anymore, but atleast TDS keeps the platform afloat for me.

without even nerfing the elytra i think adding some way to build a structure that gives elytras a firework style boost would do a lot for having players be attached to their worlds

some stuff i should mention: * There is an update in the works for minecarts, but who knows what the final version of that will look like. * This kind of video is a return to form for me, the reason there hasn't been anything like this in a little bit was because there wasn't much for me to talk about at the time. There will be more videos relating to Minecraft though in this format, so be on the look out for that.

I remember searching on google mariocraft and for like some weeks i thought it was some mario bros game, i didnt had the money to play the game in 2013 so my dad downloaded pirated game stuck in 1.5.2in a linux computer he had, so when i got the game in 2014 for my birthday and could play multiplayer it was a whole new thing, that game really changed my life and its crazy how that many people have similar stories to tell
