Oh I am a home body. I can stay at home for a week straight and be happy. Now that being said I would go for walks around the neighborhood, but actually traveling elsewhere I can do without. Dog barking in the background is a vibe. 🤣 YES! DNFing! Life is too short to read books you aren't enjoying. I need to pick up another Frieda McFadden soon. I haven't picked up Backman yet. I don't know if I'm ready for the level of emotion he brings to his books. Yum! Sushi!!🍣

It is fun to see your average rating change from year to year. I loved I'm Glad My Mom Died! I'm going to pick up The Seven Year Slip next year. I loved Leave the World Behind but a lot of people hate it. I'm excited to watch the adaptation. I do most of my stats on an excel spreadsheet. A few things I like to track are physical vs. audio vs. immersive reads, average rating per genre, and new to me authors vs. repeat authors.

That’s so true about the rating system when you don’t know your book taste because I was looking at my year in books review and I gave like every book 4 stars 😂😂 I’m excited to see how it’ll change next year.
