Got a new challenge going Goggins. At the YMCA we have a big sled you can put plates on and push around on the turf in the middle of the track. I push the empty sled to one side and back and put on weight. I repeat this process for 30 minutes and try to get sled heavier at the finish each time. Most importantly I wear a Santa Claus hat while doing this. No shave November means it is time for the old man white beard! I asked the people at the Y if I could video tape the challenge, and they said no. But I bet you would really, really have fun with it. And by that I mean learn to love to hate it. Still no comments here but mine... and I know that is not always going to be the case. Today a family with three autistic kids put a GIGANTIC pumpkin pie on my back porch in show of support of what I am doing. Doing the right thing instead of the easy thing is the ultimate challenge these days. My son got in trouble at school again today on the playground and was fighting again. Fighters are always going to fight... but there are good fights and bad fights. We are going to talk about that today.

Today is my birthday Goggins. 52. There is a homeless Marine from the Vietnam war that lives under a bridge by the park where I do my pullups. I baked him a cake today. Just wanted you to know that Marine can still do pullups.

This video has 31 views when I am writing this comment. I am guessing that well over 50 percent of the views are mine. I have no idea why this video has not been watched thousands upon thousands of times and that is why I keep coming back to it. I have this feeling deep inside that Goggins is PROUD that this video has only a handfew of views and PROUDER that the right guy saw this video. I have been putting videos on TH-cam for going on 16 years and do it only for my own personal accountability. This might be my favorite video that I have ever seen on the internet because it was meant for me. I am not a selfish man, and I have never needed anything from anyone, but thank you Goggins.

In case anyone is wondering, the movie is called Once Were Warriors. It deals with extreme domestic violence and the Māori culture. It's a powerful film which is hard to watch at times.

Took me 6 hours and 10 minutes to get it done. 1000 suicides, 1000 pushups. Goggins, I bet you can get it done in half the time, hell maybe a third. I had an idea though while I was grinding. Would there be a better way to raise suicide awareness then doing suicides in a high school gym talking matter of factly to kids on the bleachers? On the FIRST DAY of school there was a "lockdown" situation at my oldest boy's school. The only way this ends is if good men and women gather to become great men and women and then they do something about it.

It is 0336 here in Wisconsin. I'm off to the basketball court at the park to do the Coach Carter challenge. 1000 suicides and 1000 pushups. "What is your deepest fear, Mr. _________?" Putting your name in that blank space and answering the call is what gets you to where you need to be in life.

I was at the park with my weight vest on yesterday afternoon and a brave kid stood on my feet while I did pullups. It does not matter how many I did, what matters was that kid was inspired to do something brave. Keep doing what you do, Goggins.

I am getting closer to 60 each day Goggins. Sucks that I am going to have to retire soon, because my work is very physically demanding and dangerous. Doing challenges like this has kept me in the game a lot longer than I should have been in it. One of these challenges is going to take me out one of these days, and honestly? I am looking forward to it. I was at the park at 0400 this morning working on a new challenge that you would be proud of. Everybody always tells me to "be careful or stay safe" with a sort of fake concern that I translate into "I hope you fail so I can tell you I told you so." It is good having someone like you around that ignores that advice and keeps pushing.
