the platform paradigm will be the death of roc, you're not considering how isolating that will be in practice to your users. kind of ironic given Elm's design....or perhaps very unironic
and this is his first pass at a language with no equal peer.... i like him but just being realistic...there's no way it gets more use beyond weekend tutorials or a better zsh....i wish he was more focused on just delivering a better node/go experience....the stuff us commercial devs actually use
1.0 already! gosh
Such a great talk! I've been really enjoying it and also it was a nice touch to add a little bit of non-programming stuff in the end. Thanks!
Btw, isn't that amazing that we still have our beloved Elm? And yes, Roc is amazing, too.
people still use it in prod?
Gleeeeeeeeam
Good job!

Lindsay is awesome! Really cool to know this podcast. A lot of love from Brazil 🇧🇷
Yes, she is! Thanks for coming to Elm Town! Hope you stick around!

Very cool discussion. Mario, about that "you write bash eventually", I've just started to look into nushell more and it's really good.
Where's that logisticly link you promised in the intro? 😀
The TH-cam description doesn't seem to like email links. 😅 It's in the full show notes here: elm.town/episodes/elm-town-67-breaking-things-down-with-gingko-writer (on the elm.town site).
Hey Bro , really nice video! I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your video to reach to a wider audience .
Elm land is a great framework, love it
As a visual thinker and learner myself, i truly appreciate Brilliant's approach to teaching complex topics!
Grate interview, I also completely misunderstood Elam Land. I always wondered how it compares to Elm Pages. Docs area great btw, I learned a lot. Even got the link to Mars Robot buttons :).
Dillon is a brilliant mind.
Really enjoyed the open and honest discussion here! If you're looking for more Elm Town guests for the show, I'd be happy to talk about Elm Land 🌈 The pain points Kevin mentioned really resonated with me, and I'd love to chat about how we can make Elm easier for product teams to adopt and scale!
Hey Ryan! Thank you, we would love to have you on to talk about those challenges/solutions from your perspective. Great work on elm-spa and now Elm Land 🌈!
