@@scaledynasty yeah 100% although they are new to the drifting scene they have been in the race scene since 1864, They have clearly done their drifting homework and also applied their knowledge from racing to this chassis. As apposed to Traxxas how seem to trying to get money for old rope with there drift effort but still a gate way in to the hobby for many

@alistairvian very well said dude! I believe there is definitely a market for both, but Traxxas could have aimed for something similar to the YD2 and RMX RTR packages! However, for both of them, price wise if they perform alright they will help the scene grow for sure!

I'm waiting for a Schumacher Di1.0 to be released! 😁 Loved their Atom 3 and the old superstox. Raced a Schuey Touring Car over 20 years ago, quality and design. Being British spares/hop-ups easy to buy in UK. Getting into my RD2.0 as a first drift car, finally pulling some smooth wide Lead lines and clipping zones after 3 months of who's that twat with the orange car! Seriously though, they've been a great bunch and very tolerant at MDS. The associated spec is tempting, got to drive one first, wouldn't advise buying blind, not any footage with decent drifting of DC10s out there yet. Decided I must chase really well to justify buying an established competition focused car. So maybe that would rule out Associated's offering, one way or another 😂

In Japan yes! They made the Onevia (180 and Silvia) with 180sx popups on a S13 Silvia body ​@@Slideyvr

Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to comment! I didn't go into detail with the mounts I was using because there are so many ways they can be mounted depending on chassis or body. Maybe I'll make a more in-depth video about the mounts themselves. Is there something in particular you are having trouble with ?

@@scaledynasty installed these on a tt-02 and been having issues. They do not line up right, crooked the way they sit. I got them to work, but its all wonkey. Thanks for the comment back.

The ones I used in the video aren't the best admittedly. But I'll use a set of Vernier Calipers to get them square on each side and then if it's still crooked I'll check the shocks are preloaded so there is the same chassis clearance each side also. These style rear mounts have a habit of rotating from side to side making everything uneven. I prefer the horizontal posts with the carbon brace.
