It will be difficult to find a moment again where a guy is this over with the crowd as Sami was in Montreal. Quebeccers really know how to show love and appreciation to their people. This pop is once in a lifetime thing and only a handful of guys get an ovation lasting this long. He needs to win the world title in Montreal. The city deserves it. The crowd deserves it. And after his amazing work Sami deserves it too.

To see this guy wrestle in mine and his hometown and seeing my hometown crowd go crazy its truly amazing Sami Zayn is my hero and he has inspired me to follow my dreams to be a wrestler. At 22 years old Its great to see Sami in the ring and get this big opportunity! Go Sami!

Thank you so much for posting this. I wish I was there just to have that feeling of camaraderie with my fellow fan. It’s few and far between that sports fans in general, let alone wrestling fans, get moments like this. Must’ve been so magical. Only comparative I have is back in 2019. Spent literally every single last dime I had to go to this game and get home after. I went and saw a Colorado avalanche playoff game while we were just beginning our reascension back into relevancy. Gabe landeskog (our captain) scored an ot gw to force a game 7 vs San Jose. I cried. I laughed. I hugged folks I’d never met before. I imagine that’s what this night was like for you. Cherish it brother it’ll be a memory for the rest of your life.
