@@meefthepotatoe4363 getting that 59 suit up 😎👌🏻yes I did , yea they don’t carry the complete differential only by parts ,you’re going to used all the 64 differential internal parts,if you didn’t get the axles shaft bearing with the C-clip just taken em off the 64 ones an put em on the Monte Carlo ones ,now when put back the axles shafts with the bearing make sure you put em on the correct side because one is shorter than the other one ,just double check on that before you put everything back together..😎

That’s right I had put it on it a while back that was one of the first thing I did wanted to add on 😁!!!before you put it together you have used a 1.8mm drill bit also get you a 1.8mm led red light then wire it up to the brake like not the reverse light then it be all set up 😁I did solder the wires so it makes good connection!!!

@@jersonmendoza2094 was cracking homie 😎 I had got mines after redcat & jevries came out with the 64 it’s been a while, I think the person who I got em from it’s not around any more , but on redcat website , they do have 3d files where you can download for free they also have more parts for the 64 , for the last few months I been out of social media sence I’m going through some bad times right now hope soon everything gets better so I can get back on track ,but if you have IG or facebook just look for some one that do 3d printing parts an they can make em for you!!!

Yes they are around $129 each but the 300’s are about the same price an work better I did end up changing the back servos for the 300’s so I got all 300’s servos all around , on the 79 Monte I did used the reefs low profile black servos for the back n got the black 300’s reefs servos on the front for better hopping!!

I did see only a small part of a video on redcat ,it didn’t show all step by step but I kinda figured out on how too , i used a X-acto knife ,stared cutting all around the edge, I did took my time I did went over with the X-acto knife slowly spot by spot did when over an over till the knife made it through the body after I was done cutting they to I sand all round to make the edges smooth… 😎

Hey bro nice to hear from you 😎yea I know they ain’t much info i had to do mines the hard way and a little of guessing how to 😓but yea mine came clear all of em come in clear so you can paint em to much you paint job , step 1 you have to get a X-acto blade an cut all around the border lines edge you will see the figure of the rag top an booth so fallow it ,remember on the bottom back n side of the rag top you goin to leave about 1/5 or 2 mm so it can be stick to the body !!! Step too it’s way better to paint it from the outside so you can give it a matte finish also tryn to used a matte color paint you don’t wan it to be shiny!! Step 3 it does come with optional gangster window or normal window they for the stickers to cover the window it depends if you want to go with the gangster window or normal window ,now if you’re goin with the gangster window you going to also “cut” the small window then used chrome foil or you can used chrome paint for just trim around it if you going for the normal window don’t need to used chrome trim only cover it all 😎hope it helps bro it not I can make you a video n send it to you!!!

@@soy1de3aztlan thanks ! im using the big window option & not the gangster window style … and I’ll make sure to remember to “1/5 or 2 mm” on the cut ….. question for the window 🤔 is there a “film” layer on the whole top, or just the window, and if there is a “film” before painting i should remove it for the paint to stick huh ? and not the film on the window to protect the window from getting paint on it, or do I have to tape the window so paint does not get on it ? is there film covering the window, already like “pre cut” or do I have to run my blade lightly over the film around the window to cut away the film away from the window? again thanks and yes if you do have a video that be great cause I checked all utube and I couldn’t find a single video on the JEVRIES top or boot as far as prepping it

That together but also adding weight to the back and doing a few mods to the front nose of the chassis at the same time will have to add a BEC set at 8.4 volt if the servos can handle it ,3s lipo battery to give the servos more full power !!!

@@TW39 yes you can but it’s not going to give you much power to hop high ,now remember you still goin to need a bec set up at 6.8 volts to get the most power out the servo also you going to need a lipo battery!!

I did go to Redcatracing.com filled out the warranty form and they will send you an email letting you know they will replace it for a new one most of the Monte Carlo’s came with that issue about the steering servo not working properly!!!

Even if it does it sometimes it will stop working that’s how mines was !!! But just go tje tje warranty claim filled the form a they will send you a new steering servo !!

@@Ari_Soloz ohh ok lol they steering servo is the smallest motor that makes the front wheels to turn right or left,, for the control remote you have to turn it on also the switch on the RC car !!! Now you can take that servo out when you install the new one make sure that the wheels are line up straight then you can install the servo horn!!! If you need more help let me know I can do a video for you on how to set up the steering servo also with the end points on the remote control!!

Yea most of the Monte Carlo’s came out the that issue on all em steering servos they should replace it they do have a year warranty 😎👍🏼!!! What I end up doin on mine I did replaced it for a 99 micro servo from reefs they are real good servos is been a long time without no issues with the reefs steering servo !!

@soy1de3aztlan so I called redcat and sure enough they sent a replacement. They sent the hexfly hx m4k which is half the size of the original one so we'll see how this plays out

@@drog1595 that’s good maybe the new one they send you is a better quality steering servo an hope so maybe that’s why they send you a different one because the stock one I do think is not a good quality steering servo sence so many people had an still been having that issue with it !! Yea it does help lots for the hopping acción it make the Monte or the 64 n 59 hop way better besides is amazing quality and no mods it’s easy to install homie 😎

They can’t be fix they had a bad batch of steering servos on the Monte, get at Redcatracing they should replace it for a new one ,go to warranty then claims they will get back at you with a tracking number for they new servo ,the RC Lowrider cars have a 1 year warranty!!!!

Get a hold of Redcatracing do a claim on the warranty they should replace it for a new one ,there’s many steering servos on the Monte that where bad ain’t no way to fix it but Redcatracing should replace it for a new one !!!

Yes if it’s not level right from the back is going to be the end points!! What I be doing on mines I kinda of eyeball it or better I get a small level n lay it flat on the back on the chassis with the back all the way up n I drop it all the way down to get a perfect level 😎👍🏼
