I'm afraid I cannot directly answer or solve that, I've never worked with Apple anything. However, a quick search results in something called Porting Kit www.portingkit.com/game/200 (installing C&C Generals/ZH via steam with porting kit on mac) And an app called Clouddeck clouddeck.app/blog/command-conquer-generals-zero-hour-mac/ Maybe this can help you more than I can.

X-com 2, and is indeed a great game. Has many mods, so you can custom your experience to your liking. Still, I suggest playing vanilla first, or only cosmetic changes to understand the difficulty of the game.

Xcom: Enemy Within is also worth checking out, it's this games' predecessor where the aliens first invade earth.

Played both! Got a whole walkthrough of homeworld 2 and a world record (I think) speedrun of Cataclysm. I could go through Deserts and Remastered again and record it. I'm a big homeworld fan.

@@originalbastav7346 Thats great to hear! Sure, I could sink a few hours into them. Might try my hand at voicing them, I sound like squidward though so it'll be sleep inducing. I'll probably make one for Homeworld 3 if it's any decent. I am currently doing weird challenge runs of Dark Souls too.

Been a while since I looked at Homeworld, but I doubt these games get any more patches unfortunately. it's clear they're broken :( Regardless it should be possible by destroying every bit of radioactive debries and vagyr capital ships. If I remember correctly, there are also a few resource patches at the edge of the playing field where vagyr resourcers flee to when their carrier is destroyed. I guess I also wiped out the vagyr so quickly that they don't gather anything at all...

I am aware of this, but thanks. The 'flak frigate taking heavy damage' always made me smile on the outside and cry on the inside. The second video is old with appropriate low quality and a laughable fleet...
