Thank you for sharing your story. It takes alot of courage to open up like that. It makes my heart happy that you and your mom are back in communication with each other. Big props to your dad for not bad mouthing her over the years; he's a wise man. And I'm so glad about Dylan and his dad too. I pray that things work out for all of you. Lots of love and peace going out to you.
🙏🏽💕
Thank you for doing Led Zeppelin and your commentary while listening to the songs. I especially love Stairway to Heaven. Definitely an all time favorite and top notch song in my book! I enjoy hearing your thoughts and reactions on your youtube videos of the songs you play 🙂🙂

Check out Houses of the Holy
Ur totally right!
"What Is And What Should Never Be" is about dropping a Hit of LSD. There is a line in there that through YT censorship reads: "That You Will Be mine, By Taking Our time," but the Lyrics are actually "You Will Be Mad, By Taking A Tab." A Tab is what we used to call a Hit of Acid, but of course TH-cam has to censor everything. Kinda changes the meaning of that song, right? Cheers...

that drum part in 'when the levee breaks' is famous for its big reverberant sound. this was achieved by setting up bonham's drum kit at the bottom of a stairwell, then placing microphones around the open space to capture reflections. it's an old studio trick. before there was tape reverb and electronic reverb, sound engineers used natural reverb by mixing the dry sound with the echoes from the room to create a more live-sounding recording.

Love how you have an open mind . I'm 63 years old . Been listening to Led Zeppelin since 1975. There Music is timeless . Glad you like the music ,,, Love your reactions. so pure and real ! Best Band EVER!!
God ain’t real poser! Grifter!
LZ IV was my all time favorite album for a long time. Recently I’ve come to like Houses of the Holy slightly more. A great album with a variety of genres. Treat yourself and listen to it!
I apologise on behalf of my country, UK, for this, the best Blues/Rock album of all time. I cannot suggest any other (except LZ 4) that will will ever surpass it. Just listen to the other Zepp albums though, to make certain!
Definitely makes the play list.
This is what you get with consummate musicians at the peak of their powers. No computers or autotune nonsense. What I have is old age for being there when when this music was made. Well worth every wrinkle and aching bone.

First, thank you for unabashedly confessing a faith in Jesus Christ. A word about Four Sticks which many find a quixotic song. It is essentially an East Indian Raga which incorporates a simple riff ( a musical mantra if you will ) repeated from beginning to end over a complex rhythmic pattern. This is very characteristic of the raga which is often a religious piece of music meant to convey a sense of no beginning or no end - infinity. Bonham’s drumming is brilliant here. It was recorded the only time the band performed it live and Bonham’s performance was stunning. He drove the piece relentlessly playing his arse off from beginning to end. Allegedly, he used four sticks instead of two to deaden the drums slightly making them sound more like tablas. Zeppelin recorded the piece in India with a full, traditional symphony. That too is a brilliant performance enriched by musicians born to the music.
John Bonham was known to have two sides, one full of bravado and violence fueled by alcohol, and the other a gentle, sensitive and fastidious man who simply wanted to be on his farm with his family. The tragedy of alcohol is that it can possess and destroy the sensitive, caring and compassionate. I can’t help but wonder if Bonzo’s bravado and machismo was a cover for a man who felt life too acutely to bear up to its rigors and challenges. If so, his death is not only tragic but painfully poignant - and wholly unnecessary.
Praise Jesus, indeed! Love seeing folks hear Zep for the first time and feeling the exact same way I felt when I heard then for the first time. True story. I was 16. Friend asks, “You haven’t heard Zeppelin?” I said, “I know the name, but I don’t think I’ve heard the music.” He said he’d come over to my house with all of their albums, and if I didn’t like them, we’d stop listening. We listened to every damned album. All I could say was “ Oh my GAWD!!!” And “Holeeee shit!!!!” Loved every song - and I realized when we got to THIS album (LZ II) that this was the one band my brother listened to in the 60s that didn’t sound like ANY other. I knew it when I heard Whole Lotta Love - which scared me as a kid. But when Heartbreaker/Livin’ Lovin’ Maid came on, I went nuts because as a 5 year old, in ‘69, I LOVED those tunes and had forgotten them until that day. Watching you brought me back to those days, and it was joyous to watch. Thank you!!!!
nice reaction dawg

You should watch song remains same live movie!!!!!!!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥11/10👍👍👍👍🙏👍👍
There’s no comparing Led Zeppelin’s creativity, musicianship, style, or vibe to any of the empty music void of today. I miss the era for the music it gave us.
He's playing the drums with his hands
Led Zeppelin II was one of Kurt Cobain's favorite albums.
I heard them and fell in LOVE with Led Zeppelin when i was 11.....I just turned 60 and started my day with a prayer THEN watched you react to what we call, "the Rock Gods". LEGEND. PERFECTION. "Misty mountain Hop".......Tolkein made into music. Norse mythology. Thank Jesus for giving these men their talent!
God bless, man! Turned 60 last year myself. Heard Zep in the sixties as my older brother listened to them. Rediscovered them at 16 and still can’t get over how much I love them - miles more than any other and I love a lot of bands from that era. It is a blessing and a reason to give thanks to the Almighty.
