Soft & Easy Homemade Flour Tortillas in Minutes
Ingredients
1 cup hot water
1 tbsp olive oil
1tsp salt
1tsp sugar
440g flour
Instructions
. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of hot water, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of sugar,add 440g of flour to the mixture,
. Knead the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic.
. Cover the dough and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
. Divide the dough into small portions and roll each into a ball.
. Flatten each ball with a rolling pin to form thin, round tortillas.
. Heat a pan over medium heat. Place a tortilla in the pan and cook until bubbles form and the bottom is lightly browned.
. Flip the tortilla and cook the other side for a few seconds.
