Its possible to make at least some of the sounds in the inro with no synth or any effects beyond distortion if you mess around with the bends.
A lot of chat members think they are critics, huh
goated song
All of the people in that chat are straight low watt gurglers.
Chat is insane in this. "bad production", "bad vocals" like what? Those where the two things i found to be outstanding when i first heard them
they're just grasping at straws to form an opinion, as soon as brad disagrees they change it because they didn't know what they were talking about in the first place
5:04 Thank you Xander T for making me realize why i felt like i heard this song somewhere before, it was because of Cannibals by Neil Cicierega
MAMA HERE COMES MIDNIGHT WITH THE DEAD MOON IN ITS JAWS / MUST BE THE BIG STAR ABOUT TO FALL
I WILL RESURRECT IT
Mama Here comes midnight With the dead moon in its jaws
Perfectly said! Its erie and magical. It creates this imagry that youre trying to decipher as you listen. Very leonard cohen like.
If a friend of mine said they did not like this song.. then They would No longer be my friend
Fav track maybe tied w riding with the ghost on one of my most listened records. Got it on promo and so happy I saw them live. Wish i knew at the time jason molina was metal. I would have chatted him up. I was very versed in metal + good looking in an awkward no makeup kind of way. A devastating combo to a certain type. Now frumpy and middle aged tho, so just let me have that ok?
"Off key" Sir, this ain't Mariah Carey...
Subbed for this reactjon
YO THIS WAS ME! I'M DIAMONDEYES935! THANK YOU FOR REUPLOADING THIS! I just found this randomly in my recommended 😄
yessir fellow deftones fan AND admiral angry fan?!?! we need to become frends or sum lmao
Shut up before I eat Bogongles
You have fantastic taste, this is a really underrated track from a really underrated band. This was the first song i heard from them and it got me hooked. Deftones are based too
@@BreadSlicer666 agreed
No like seriously offer still stands you got like discord or sum
The drum loop is super 90s, that like super-polished 90-something-bpm breakbeat sound that was in everything from beck to moby. When all the mainstream-alternative bands started putting sampled drum loops in their stuff
The chat loved it. Brad loved it. Makin me happy, they need more attention, they get way less than they deserve.
my fav goyard song fr
Anyone have a video of his full album reaction to this?
th-cam.com/video/Fdw7nASwqKo/w-d-xo.html
Major savage garden vibes in this song. This whole album is amazing.
bby goyard is so good
WHAT'S THIS MACHINE THAT FEEDS ME DIGESTING FEELING INSATIABLY Fucking legendary album, truly one of a kind.
The people in the chat yelling "off key" and "bad vocals" are the worst kind of art critics.
Always glad to see more exposure for AA. Seeing people in chat react makes me so happy. Whole album FUCKS HARD
Ong i randomly looked them up after some years and was surprised to see brad reacted to this song specifically. i found this song from the shelsmusic soundcloud cuz ive been a fan of shels for years and i immediately got hooked on this track
fr tho
He would love 4THWALL or really any of the other BBY GOYARD projects I think
If you guys like this you're gonna LOVE "Water From a Vine Leaf" by William Orbit
One of my favorite songs, one I would want played at my funeral. I love how the song is able to be both sad/melancholoy and uplifting/optimistic at the same time. The imagery is just a poignant picture of the struggle of life, and of not giving up, even tho its very easy, frequently, to feel like giving up.
YESSSSSSSSSSS
It's legal to play copyrighted works for commentary, why is the copyright censor banner needed?
I’m pretty sure it’s the video but I’m not exactly sure why
It’s to prevent triggering visual content ID, also to add to a stronger argument that the reaction was “fair use”. I am not a copyright expert or a lawyer.
Through the static and distance A farewell transmission.
I beg u do all dunkeys songs. There are no reacts on this shit. Criminal. Clearly sir, u are the man for this. At the very least, do i got it, petters on the low, this is a chicken wing, more dunkey and the one about vi. It will soon be xmas, I ask only that u do this for the honor of utub
If you did this whole album it would make my year
Thw whooe thing is so incredible. Eapecially the first half
Brad actually did listen to the whole thing although I’m not sure if he’ll post the reaction
thank you for documenting this 10/10 appreciate you
okay but why does Brad look like Donald Fagen and not even young Donald Fagen?
Holy cow you're right
I love this comment so much 😂
Just discovered his channel and wondered if he reviewed this song, turns out he did lol thanks for this
some of the chat takes are wild lol, one of the greatest songs of all time and it was recorded in ONE TAKE
“AWFUL VOCALS” man WHAT
dude spends over 50 bucks to make him listen to this and chat has the audacity to say skip because its not their vibe lol
I still get chills whenever I hear this song
Ebbandflow i think i seen that name on 100 percent
it me
This is the greatest song of the 21st century.
I first heard this song looking at a music video about Soy Panday skating on dailymotion, that was 12 yrs ago or something. I fell in love with that song, it was a very good video totally encapsulating the atmosphere of freedom carried by this song. I recommend you watch it. Love this song, a great leagacy.
oh sick i cant believe you clipped this! i sent the song in but after the vod deleted i couldnt relive his reaction. i appreciate this upload!
no problem ! wish i was able to get in higher quality but can only do so much with iphone screen recording along with the not best internet hahaha. saw her name in the queue and knew i had to 🫡
Fun fact: that was recorded live with 12 people in one take
And that final "Listen" wasn't planned or rehearsed. Everyone suddenly realized at once that it was over. An incredible instance of musicians vibing together.
@@agooglyminotaur169Then why in the demo does he do the same phrasing?
Looks like a few more viewers than twelve
@@SidEllis98 ???
@@SidEllis98lol
There was a perfect moment in time called 1998 that had this song existed then, it would’ve truly been a smash hit.
Savage garden vibes
Literally AoTY for me. George Clanton’s a musical hero in this era and criminally underrated.
Album of the year, song of the year, artist of the year .. and coincidentally concert of the year. George was one of the few in my long lifetime that has hit the coveted 4 out of 4 and it's only September.
Wasn't a huge fan of the album until I saw George live a couple weeks ago and it made me realize just how great it is, easily my aoty as well. Justify Your Life has been speaking to me particularly..
Love the album I’m going to see him in Chicago this month for the second time
No 10?? :(
im not sure its possible for a serious person to be sure a song is a 10 on the first listen.
@@m9shamalani mean, long season - live was preety fkin close for me personally.
He did actually give it a 100 on AOTY
Great react, a1 vibes and it had to be done
idk how ppl can make music that sounds like this without being like a literal scientist thru grad school and years of developmental research
apologizes for the goofy ass battery notification halfway through lmao
