I like the design of the belt. The engraving and designs but the strap is too girly 😂, that strap and outer plate design shape isn't my thing. But it is a beautiful belt just the same of the strap and center plate. The side plates look good

How much was the belt

The original Hardcore title did have the WWF property plate on it, it had a thin strip of gaffer tape going across it. You can see it in the match with him against Duane Gill at the 1998 Survivor Series PPV. Really great shots of Mankind holding the belt in his entrances there

I spotty the wonky flag... The China flag is incorrect. The China flag has a big hammer & sickle on it which is close to the old U.S.S.R flag (but still not accurate). The Chinese Flag should have 5 yellow stars. Do you have a date range that this belt was used on TV?

Strap is horrible. Plates are not that great either the color of the globe is wrong the Wwf logo isn’t Tv accurate also the plates are too small. The belt maker still need to tweak his work to make it look more tv accurate

Good review. As far as intercontinental wwf belts are concerned, my favorite is the black reggie. I don't like the 2019 version, and it made me appreciate the 1998 oval version a lot more than I have before.

He makes good plates. But theres tons of leather makers that make completely accurate leather straps with just as good quality if not better. I ended up making my own base plates spending the money for these never seemed worth it to me. Belt looks good tho. Just little flaws i couldnt deal with to justify the price point in my opinion. Especially if you have to pull the leather back and replace screws. Ive just seen to maby flaws with his work.

Pretty cool concept but kinda dumb to not have two of each of these I feel. Would’ve liked to have put like the 30s on a BL and the 40s(like the regular set on a whc or undisputed)

Thank You for the update. I just received a championship belt from WWE. At some point in transport one of the ends of the box came totally open. I’m surprised that the belt was still in the box! I’m not sure at what point it opened, or if it was a bad taping job at WWE, or bad handling from UPS?

I ordered mine on the 5th April, It arrives tommorrow, "Never dull is also showing up as well, (I watched videos of people who use it to bring out the shine) I wonder if I should even use it now considering this belt has been upgraded. "Never Dull" thoughts?

Thanks for the video. I have been thinking about getting one, however I was unaware of any smell coming off the strap. Judging from the date of your video it’s been five months, and I would like to know if the smell is still present, and if so, is it still as bad as when you first got it?
