It’s common to have expanded rubber gaskets/o-rings. Small carburetors for example. I shrink them back down to size after putting the over sized o-ring into boiling water for about 20-30 seconds. No harm done to the o-ring. Just a tip for people to try first. But yeah a new o-ring should automatically come with a new filter when you are doing maintenance work.
2515 R, only way I would buy one. Love to have one. When Branson bailed I could get one $17,500 out the door.
Can you get the 474 with a cab?
same engine block, just gotta wait for the warranty to expire, cam swap and injectors same hp
Well done, Sonny 🧐
Is there a video on T25 phone charger?
Too bad they still have a DPF.
I use high range on the road. The key is to slowly build speed if you use autothrottle. If you jump on the pedal off the hopp it will fall on it's face. Alternatively you could throttle up with dash lever to high rpms prior to depressing the foot pedal. I love my 2515. People who see it can't believe what it can lift. I use it mostly to lift logs onto the sawmill.
Would like to see a comparison of the 4820 and the 494/574. TYM has too many models that overlap due to Branson models. They also have a t554 that is close to 494/574 but it has Yanmar engine??
Congratulations, great video!
I looked at a 2024 model t494 and it had lights mounted on the rollbar... ..this 574 doesnt. Is this the standard location for the lights down on the fenders???......this is a much better place than how it was on that 494.
Good info. I agree with everything except on the liners. A solid block can be prone to pinholes from cavation, unless you add a coolant treatment. I have had several blocks board and sleeved when this has happened.
Thank you for this video. A lot of new information what I did not know. I have one question about new TYM tractor models. Do you perhaps know what engine is used for these newer TYM tractors for example TYM F50RN Compact, Series 2 48 hp tractor? Is it still reliable Kukje diesel engine or something else which are new line of engines what TYM has created? Thanks.
So how do I get rid of that valve?? That's a safety hazard.
Bs emissions my boy.
Just bought a bad boy 4025, dealer made it a better deal than the 2515 so thats what i got
I love the simplicity. What sucks about this is, like the DOC stuff, if this barely scrapes by current emissions regulations (or at least it seems like). If the EPA moves the goal post even a step TYM/Kukje won't have an answer for a 35-60HP engine in the U.S. What are your thoughts on this?
Thank you
Looks like it was capable of a lot more. Should have added ballast and seen what it could do.
Great video. Thank you
I'm new to the tractor world so reading everyone's comments & questions is really helpful...Thanks to all!!
Did I understand you correctly... a 48HP motor is available on the 2515? Does that mean it HAS the emissions & DPF??
ALL diesels above 25hp have emissions. SOME above that don't have a DPF, but they heavily rely on high pressure fuel lines and lots of complicated hoses, computers and electronics to achieve that.
Honestly I wish I had both lol love my 474 but sometimes I have to move some heavy stuff and the 474 just don’t quite have the weight to move stuff without adding a lot of weight on the rear end and then I’m scared I’m gonna break something. But it definitely has the power.
What size hydraulic top link for the Tym 25 ? I see all different lengths listed.
Thank you for the tip and the information
I still went with the 2515. No emissions and all metal. I did look at the 474 and really liked it but don’t know if I need more horsepower yet
The 2515h has this simple system doesn’t it? I wondered if the H transmission changed the simplicity
How does the 474 compare with the 3620 or 4815?
Like all your comparison videos. Would like to see a 474 vs 4215
Great information!!! Thanks for that!
Bought this tractor with a cab today. Can’t wait to see it come home.
How is it going? I am planning on buying one too, w/inverted snowblower
Spot on...just bought a used 2515,high range is completely useless, and although it's a front loader is a beast,it's sketchy lifting that much on it,im definitely adding ballast in tires asap
Old guy with 60+ year-old tractor shakes his head. 🙂
Hi.. I have your TYM 474... Fuel gauge is ONLY reading full... Just stopped working after 175 hr. Is there a fuse? Any help is appreciated... Thank you...
Thank you for the detailed breakdown, especially between the 494 vs 574, that’s what I was curious about.
Hi, it’s Tom. Where are you located with your dealer?
you are gonna have condensation in any high pressure fuel system the pump builds up heat in the fuel and when returned to the tank hot and left to sit overnight it will condensate best to keep extra fuel filters around and change often such as every oil change or atleast every other oil change
those rubber orings at filter housing should be changed every filter change no rubber o ring will stand up to the turning of the bowl and fuel

I picked up huge stumps with a backhoe on the back the real capacity is a lot more than it’s rated for
I have a new TYM. T25. It has a Yanmar engine. So why did they switch?
The larger TYM have the Kukje engine
4815 compared to 474 please and thank you
Can you add an in-line fuel filter to the pressure feed line?
It would be great if you guys make a video comparing the 474 Vs 4815. Thanks!
I'm comparing exactly these two tractors (and a couple of others in the distant rear of the pack), it seems like your vids are targeted right to me. Well done, thank you for the time and the great work.
The exact three tractors I am considering...this was very helpful. I do see some folks questioning whether hydrostatic transmissions will hold up to heavier plowing and the like...I would have never even worried about that until seeing a few posts about it, so maybe it is an issue vs shuttles.
Maybe make the screen out of stainless steel just for safety reasons to stop extra damage
My problem is the auger doesn't raise up as high as it should.
I would like to see this test with a 5' box scraper thrown on the back of this same tractor, and or how much of a difference it makes having a cab version of this tractor
What Grapple options for the 574?
