This refinishing process can last 10-15 years so long as it's taken care of. Hawks labs has excellent abuse ratings. A yearly polish will also restore all life back into the product. Also, if there is any issues, like a Tennant cutting into the countertops could easily be smoothed and blended.

Thank you! If done properly, hawks' lab coatings have been known to last 10 years + would I ever insist that this is better than granite or marble? Absolutely not, but it is rated at a 2H hardness at 3 mils, and ive personally have not had any peeling on countertops, but i have seen jobs where there was adhesion failure due to poor prep. This is an affordable way to fix and update what you already have. Not everyone has the 4-7k to shovel at exotic rocks.

Removal means way more work. Cutting it off the wall. Then, you have to find a place to shoot it. I can have a small bathroom masked in less than an hour. Not to mention, I did the whole kitchen, too. Spraying outdoors leads to overspray on all the neighbors' stuff. If this was a 6000 dollar job, I might go the extra mile. For 200, just for the bathroom counter, yeah, it's not happening.

I'll praise anyone who is here to promote quality work! The sad thing is that people are uneducated about the process. It's not as easy as applying the paint and wishing for the best. I want people to make educated decisions and ask the right questions. I am sick of people selling crap work because it's fast and affordable. I am struggling because people value their dollar over quality work. Then, you have guys like this who have no knowledge of the subject at hand and turn people away from the refinishing process.
