yep you can try to plan everything. What is your thoughts that the drive shaft is going to bolt up and be correct length?

What is the reason for 2 clutch packs?

@@Jeff-qn3cd from what I understand it's a way to get better foot feel and holding power over one clutch with heavier fingers. With the HP output of the motor, dual clutch will have more overall surface area and should hold good and not get a leg workout while at it. At least that's what I understand it to do. I could be way off though. Lol

Sounds like a great platform. I originally wanted to do a Ford powerplant, but since I was starting from a blank slate I went LS based for various reasons. I wanted a strong platform to build upon and didn't want to be left wanting more in the future.

Thanks for the comments, feedback and tips. I thought about alternatives for sealing panel gaps. So far, I've been using it for what seems like secondary seal along rivet joints. There are a few gaps that I haven't addressed yet that I may use something other than the GE silicon for. We'll see when I get there.

Thanks. I originally wanted to build a Ford motor. I grew up a Ford guy. I started with a blank slate and priced the build for small block Ford's. It was a no brainer to do a LS motor. I was able to build the motor for a fraction of the cost of a high HP Ford. Since I was starting from scratch, cost was negligible from stockish to high HP. Plus it's lighter (approx 45lbs) than small block ford.

No. That was just the recommendation for the fuel demands for the motor at 58psi and 42lb injectors.

Same here. Cheap mistakes and probably being too critical of my work. Needed it to look nice. To bad once the car is done you won't really see any of it.

you could use it as a parking brake. But my intentions are to be able to lock the front brakes and have the rear loose to do over the top burnouts. lol

No baking. I went with air cure cerakote. The bake coatings are probably more durable and ready to use a lot quicker. The air cure cerakote takes a couple days for full cure

I'm not sure. I've read that some people have done it I just don't know the long term durability of the coating. I do know with sand blasting, which is what cerakote recommends, you get max benefit. If my blasting setup was better, I think the process would be less of a headache.

Not marked. I have to mark them with a template they provide for 2" or 3" spacing. 3" spacing into the subframe and 2" spacing for aluminum to aluminum. I'm running the spacing closer than recommended.

The rear hubs I think are for a different vehicle which gets adapted to fit the kit. I also noticed the opening for the lugs on the wheels are small so maybe the lug nuts for the slightly larger studs wouldn't fit the wheels. And to match the front so all the lig nuts match
