Can it stay decentralized if most of the Bitcoins are held via the ETFs? It seems to me that having Bitcoin as a medium of exchange is a must. Otherwise, Blackrock and the others will sell only its store of value capabilities and centralize it.
I've spent some time thinking about this, and it's a hard thing to wrap my head around, but I think that bad players owning "most" of all of the Bitcoin would be impossible, since education related to the downfalls of the current fiat system and the many benefits of the Bitcoin system will only increase. Now, purchasing power will dwindle amongst regular people compared to centralizing powers in the fiat system, however I believe the push for fairness and freedom will outweigh this. What do you think?
