Thoughts on life. Thoughts on photography.
Fuji GA645Wi: Beautiful or just a beast?
This is my review of the Fujifilm GA645Wi medium format point and shoot camera after owning it for about six months and shooting with it exclusively for three. After all that time spent shooting it, will I be keeping it in my kit? Or is it time to sell and move on to something else...?
Note: Most of this was shot prior to the current Covid-19 pandemic, hence why I was working with models, going to bars, and wandering the highland in NYC... Please, don't think that this video is proof positive that you can just go out and be in public right now. Be responsible and respectful: Stay inside, stay healthy, and help others do the same.
I'm sheltering in AZ now- more updates in the next video.
Thanks for watching!!!

Every now and then I find a camera that completely changes the way I approach photography. The Fujifilm Rensha Cardia Byu-N 16 is absolutely one such camera. Watch the video to find out why! Ep.2 Does Newer Mean Better?
มุมมอง 2.4K5 ปีที่แล้ว
As photographers and videographers, our gear is essential to what we do. Lately, however, it seems like there is a lot of pressure to buy new cameras, lenses, and whatever else with the promise of better results... but once you upgrade, can you even tell the difference?? Thank you for watching! www.TaylorNoelPhotography.com
Ep.1: "Perfectionism Sucks"
มุมมอง 1.7K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Do you ever feel like you just can't get going on that project or idea you've always wanted to pursue? Well you're not alone. For the next 12 weeks, I'm going to create and publish one video per week and see if I can finally work past my own self doubt and perfectionism surrounding TH-cam. Care to join me for the adventure? Thanks for watching! www.TaylorNoelPhotography.com
Just bought the lomography action sampler which is a very similar type of camera, it takes 4 frames on one frame of 35mm over one second at around 1/100th of a second, I'm planning to test it out for street photography to make some unique prints with all 4 images of a subject, I think it'd be really interesting to capture things like pigeons, street scenes generally, interesting individual subjects like if there's a particularly interesting character on the street, and things like movement on a bus or tram, it's a very unassuming camera like this is so I think it'll blend in well on the streets
These were fun at $500 but at the $1200 they ask now? No way. Especially when Fuji won't repair them.
This is in my Top 2 YT videos for the GA645. I come back to it several times a year.
Why not put ND over the lens area if it's too sunny for a push? And great camera.
Bro… what happened to you??? Your videos are so freaking awesome!!!!! Please, please, please, make more!
That's my dream car haha Great vid!
Great video and review. The intro was some solid filmmaking - kudos.
Beautiful video. What’s the song title st the end? Shazam could not handle it
富士フィルムの謎技術やな
It would be great to have that video about the developing technique.
A giant grand daddy of the X100VI
That's actually kinda cool. Also great video.
missed opportunity to call it the Fujifilm freakazoid
Maybe it was to take a picture of something that signifies what hole they’re on or a paper tracking score? Idk.. I know nothing about golf
Great video. I subscribed even though you've been away for some time :D Thanks for the few videos you made. I learnt a lot.
This was really well put together.
this video is a beautiful beast
QooCam EGO ???
In the realm of digital photography, many modern cameras, especially mirrorless and DSLR models, offer high-speed continuous shooting modes, effectively serving the same purpose as the traditional Rensha cameras. These digital cameras can capture a rapid sequence of images, making them ideal for capturing fast-moving subjects or creating action-packed sequences. If you're specifically looking for a digital camera with rapid-fire capabilities akin to the Rensha Cardia, you'll want to explore models that boast high-speed burst modes, fast autofocus systems, and minimal shutter lag. Brands like Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Fujifilm offer various models with these features, catering to different budgets and photography needs. When considering a digital camera for rapid shooting, pay attention to factors like frames per second (FPS) in burst mode, autofocus performance, buffer capacity, and overall image quality to ensure it meets your requirements for capturing dynamic moments effectively
What software did you use to stack the photos the way you did in the video?
please do a video on stand dev, I’m interested in starting to do that to save developer
Great video! Hope you get back to making videos, you make good content!
amaizing editing! and the sound work is exceptional
Did this guy just show us how to push the shadows slider on film rolls
This is such an interesting and high quality video. Love it
Obviously, you're not a golfer.
awesome video i hope you will make more
This thing would be an insane cop if it released all 16 shutters at the same time. A super wiggle cam
i'd love to see this camera in a sport environment like racing cars of football
Hello. What kind of battery fits in the camera?
its could, IN THEORY, be used to make miniature carte de visites!
Just doing research on these cameras because I want to dip my toe into medium format but don’t know if I’m ready for the big boy cameras and I mostly shoot film when travelling.
How do you scan you're negatives to digital?
Instant Muybridge!
I need this ;-;
Omg thank you soo much been debating if I wanted to go for the wide or the zoom but it seems like nobody uses the wide for portraits only landscapey stuff. So it made it super hard to see if i could use the wide for what I shoot lol But you sold it for me I’m def going the wide!
BYU fans gonna be real confused in the comments
Just discovered your channel, great videos, interesting to watch, informative and nice pictures!
Is this guy still alive ?
5:43- That's almost sounds similar to frozen or that Mexican food.
I remember seeing a clone of this camera at the defunct Lomography shop in San Francisco (which I believe became a Leica shop).
In addition to a fine review, this video has TOP level production: Thank you!
There are modern versions of this camera obviously not the same brand or anything but there are modern cameras that work the exact same way
U take amazing photos!!!
One of the best TH-cam videos I've seen in my life!!!!!
nice camera👌 and awesome video😉
Sick! Awesome photo's. do you scan them by yourself as well??
Totally brilliant, thanks!
This is such a good video, thanks for making it
