Neither has dukes nor my sister ever retwisted my locs in my two year journey. This is MY loc maintenance/routine , This video was about how I maintain my locs in between each retwist and a daily basis . You guys seeing my hair done was not even originally apart of the video, if you would like to see the process of my hair being done just ask.

Currently I’m in a rotation of rice water , creme of nature leave in conditioner and I’m testing out oils that work best for my hair.

The first 5 -7 months I used Jamaican oil , and tea tree oil. After that my mom started making her own oil

Throw some tea tree oil in your shit from family dollar , its shaped like a tube with a needle head tip it cost $1.25

I did 4 weeks after my hair being in starter locs , always wait 4-6 weeks for a retwist

I leave my retwist in for 1-2 weeks depending on how long I want my hair to sit and grow in the style. I had about 6 or 7 retwist , I get my hair done every 2-3 months so I can allow it to breathe and grow without tension.

Just get u a cheap lil hair dryer my boy… keep that lent out and keep u from potential mildew problems.. trust me when u get more length u best friend will be that hair dryer..
