We joined Kind Heart Coalition for the Official San Diego Animal Rights March this weekend. We stopped at Breakfast Republic, Huapangos, Whole Foods, Baja Betty's and Westcoast Tavern to ask folks to stop contributing to the unnecessary suffering of sentient beings. Pros vs. Cons of Moving to Tijuana, Mexico | July 2022
มุมมอง 15K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Personally, I am of native Mexican descent (also Spanish & Italian) so leaving the United States just felt right. I do feel more at home in Tijuana than I ever did in Arizona despite only visiting here a few times. This was the best decision I could have made for my family and my mental health. I wanted to discuss the not-so-common pros and cons of moving to Tijuana so I hope you find this vide...

Activist Urges Vegans to Take Action at National Animal Rights Day
มุมมอง 1143 ปีที่แล้ว
Veganism is an inaction. In order to achieve animal liberation in our lifetime, we can simply be vegan...we have to be activists! This statement usually pisses people off at first then they realize it is the truth. Our movement is a social justice movement and we have to learn from movements of the past. I hope this message inspires you to a little more for the cause. The animals deserve it. Fi...
Animal activists honor 165k killed in egg factory farm fire.
มุมมอง 453 ปีที่แล้ว
On Saturday March 6th, 165,000 chickens burned alive at Hickman’s Egg farm in Arlington, AZ. DxE investigators tried to warn the Department of Agriculture of the horrific living conditions which included gross overcrowding. They completely ignored the concern. The media and Hickman’s employees keep putting the focus on the consumers and how they won't be effected. What about the innocent lives ...
PRESCOTT RODEO CONTINUES DESPITE BLATANT ANIMAL EXPLOITATION IN THE #1 STATE FOR COVID CASES
มุมมอง 1554 ปีที่แล้ว
Grass-roots animal liberation group, Eradicate Speciesism ventured back out to Prescott, Arizona to protest the exploitation of bulls, calves and horses. The cruel event was given special permission to continue despite events of 50 people or more being banned. Arizona is currently #1 for Covid cases. The United States is home to around 100 rodeos. This means there are hundreds of thousands of c...
YOUR BACON HAD FEELINGS-VEGAN BREAKS INTO FACTORY FARM
มุมมอง 1084 ปีที่แล้ว
Meet the victims of your habits. These adorable little piggies are currently locked in a dirty, dark farm where they await inevitable murder at age 6 months. This specific farm is considered to be very high welfare. Notice how curious they are when I approached them. They were very hesitant to come up to me, as they should be. Their normal interactions with humans are not fun. They are often in...

Inside The Sabadell Slaughterhouse
มุมมอง 5705 ปีที่แล้ว
The animal agriculture industry has paid an undisclosed amount of money to ensure that the truth behind the processing of your ''food'' is well hidden. In some countries such as the US, there are even laws prohibiting filming inside a slaughterhouse. Do these sound like actions of companies who truly believe that what they are doing is humane? This footage was obtained from a slaughterhouse jus...
A day with Lisbon Animal Save.
มุมมอง 1945 ปีที่แล้ว
After a 15 hour bus ride, I made it to Portugal! I was able to spend the day with the amazing activist from Lisbon. Activism is very new here but I know it will grow rapidly especially with seeing how dedicated the activists are. We did a vigil and went directly to a sanctuary to help build an enclosure for some new rescues. Please follow them on IG: @lisbonanimalsave
ACTIVISTS ALMOST GET HIT BY TRUCK DRIVER
มุมมอง 2.6K5 ปีที่แล้ว
A handful of activists from all over the world met up in Sabadell, Spain to say goodbye to the animals who are brutally killed at this slaughterhouse. This was no more than 24 hours after the Meat the Victims action. We were almost ran over by an angry truck driver. I have never experienced this level of aggression from a driver in my almost 3 years of doing vigils. Please remember, this is onl...
VEGANS SAVE CHICKENS MINUTES BEFORE SLAUGHTER

I joined Barcelona Animal Save last week for a vigil outside of a chicken slaughterhouse. The activists were able to save two lives that night. The ''broiler'' chickens are now living happy lives on an undisclosed sanctuary. If you would like more information on how to go vegan please go to www.challenge22.com. VEGANS RESCUE PIGLET FROM FACTORY FARM
มุมมอง 3215 ปีที่แล้ว
Several countries have laws that make open rescue ILLEGAL. Farmed animals do not have same protection as cats and dogs. They are considered nothing more than property. Massin Riggs, the 17 year old coordinator of Meat the Victims in Barcelona, rescued baby Mercury. He is now safe and happily living on a sanctuary.

As a Mexican I really don’t understand why the city of Tijuana doesn’t improve their roads and overall image being the entry point for foreigners, with the exception of the middle and upper class areas, the city is ugly even for Mexicans like myself, I don’t know why border cities are like this, compare Tijuana to Monterrey, Querétaro, Puebla, Guadalajara, Morelia, Merida, etc, etc, etc. and it’s just ugly.

Sorry, but you're crazy if you are more worried about the police on the US side. My Latina wife certainly isn't afraid of US cops. I know multiple people who were shaken down by the police on the Mexican side, never heard one story of that in the US. The police in Mexico are also frequently on the take from the cartels. In 2007, it had gotten so bad with Tijuana police that they had to be disarmed and replaced with federales. Some of the TJ police were issued sling shots!

It’s the laws of the market you cannot keep the prices down. The more Americans will move down here to Tijuana, and the more the prices will go up. Then Tijuana will be divided in really nice, and safe, areas and really nasty, and unsafe area.

Punctuality is an issue in Mexico. I lived in Los Cabos for two years and quickly learned that "I'll be there tomorrow" could mean later today or sometime next week. If you're going to live in a border town, get Global Entry and/or Sentri. It's cheap, easy, and well worth the effort.
