Hello friend! What view do you prefer? I use the virtual cockpit view so I can see a bit more then when in the Actual Cockpit 1st person view. I also have three monitors and if I don't the wings often obstructed my view. I don't like the 3rd person view at all. I think it's just a personal preference and not so much about advantages for me.

@@stewlikesgames the thing is 3rd person view gives you the most spacial awareness and a better sense of how fast your going. If you don’t prefer it then that’s personal choice but you are at a disadvantage when fighting people who use 3rd person while in first person. It is very hard to look behind you while making sure you don’t run into the ground in this view which is important for dogfighting. I would try to get used to 3rd person if you can.

I am on PC however I am using a single Thrustmaster T16000m v.1 joystick. I have no dedicated throttle device or pedals. I am using the slider/throttle built into the joystick (works fine) and the Yaw is controlled by twisting the stick (not very smooth) My biggest issue is when I twist the stick to activate Yaw I have to ease it or slowly twist it back to center. If I don't and it snaps back or auto centers at all the plane will bounce from side to side and I have to fight to stabilize the plane or just wait for it to stop. This makes it very hard to stay on target after using any Yaw. I really struggling to dial in the yaw/sensitivity options to improve this. Thrustmaster has a T.Flight Hotas 4 that might work for you www.thrustmaster.com/products/t-flight-hotas-4/

I have found it works great for Star wars : Squadrons or Elite Dangerous so I think it is the more realistic flight model / controls that make War Thunder much harder to get into. Edit: I Think in War Thunder you don't need to use a ton of yaw. So maybe I'm doing it all wrong and using way too much....If you do flight tests with Realistic Battle mode yaw will throw you into a roll if you use it the way I do. I think I have a lot to learn still ha ha

Hello friend, it is for sure an Arcade Battle in multiplayer. I'm fairly new so I don't know if they put bots in there? I'm still trying to get my controls for the Thrustmaster T16000m setup good. I'm really fighting the yaw and can't get on target but looking forward to moving to Realistic battles once I can shoot a bit straighter! Thanks for the comments!

@@stewlikesgames yea I can’t even play them I get so frustrated. I just picked up the oculus 2 and am afraid to even touch any of the vr flying games……. Thanks for being a good sport…..
