Batiatus was a man who would do anything to get what he desires, as it was shown during the show a lot. Finding out how Crassus died was very comforting !

Blood and Sand was great. Vengence was good. I thought War of the Damned was stupid.
Such an amazing finale to an EPIC story. It's so heartbreaking but it led to good things in that it gradually started the downfall of Rome (at least in part) as an oppressive empire. The spirit of Spartacus still LIVES on today in warding off slavery in all its forms.
This show was absolutely incredible. It never got the popularity it deserved.
Crassus got lucky that even lasted that long fighting Spartacus. Spartacus just went through a battle. Ran up hill, fought off the guard. Got some battle damage along the way. So by the time he finally faces Crassus, Spartacus was at like 60% full strength lol. And still Crassus could barely match that.
Yeah but sad thing is, even if he killed Crassus, Spartacus' army was already overwhelmed at that point. But at the very least, he could've fallen back with the survivors and eventually regrouped/reformed in time.
@ true. The battle itself I think he knew they were going to lose. But they had to fight them off for as long as they could to let the others have enough time to get away right?
@@spartacusx9349 Yeah victory was largely secondary but if it happened nonetheless, it would've been like a miracle but still, they died legendary heroes.

To think that crassus could fight Spartacus after he's been fighting for 5 yrs in the arenas and battlefields was kind of ludicrous
Well, Spartacus stamina was wearing off , and he got wounded by Crassus soldiers prio to their fight+ he won if nobody else intervened.
Keep in mind that Crassus was smart enough to buy a champion gladiator to train him for the fight.
He was probably already dying before he even started with Crassus. Spartacus at 100% cleans up Crassus with ease.
Yeah this version of Crassus was a quick study/learner. He's very intelligent but still was just never gonna quite catch up to Spartacus in skill.

maybe the shows good but to me this fight scene looks really bad. its shot fairly decently and the costumes and lighting and editing etc all pretty good for a show. but the choreography is slow and unnatural looking and somehow despite all the dramatic ducking and weaving and near misses it lacks a sense of urgency. i doesn't feel like anyone is trying to win
