Come celebrate the autumn season at APPLEFEST in Historic Downtown Bowmanville, the Saturday following Thanksgiving.
This tremendously popular annual street festival celebrates all things apple. Four city blocks become a showcase for our many local apple growers who proudly offer up a wide variety of fresh picked apples and other goodies. You'll also find fresh-pressed apple cider, homemade apple pies and crisps, candy and caramel apples, cider donuts, and so much more. Be sure to make a stop for our famous fresh hot apple fritters. Don't be discouraged by the line-up, they're well worth the wait!
It's also a great time to do some shopping. Applefest features an artisan and craft market where local vendors showcase their handmade creations in tents lining the streets. You can also discover the fabulous businesses and services in the Historic Downtown Bowmanville area many of whom will welcome you with special outdoor offerings.
Remember, all of our events offer FREE ADMISSION and FREE PARKING.

FREE Shuttle Service to Applefest
Park for free at Clarington Fields (2375 Baseline Road, Bowmanville) located just north of Highway 401 and a shuttle bus will drop you off at the festival and return you to the parking when you're done. Shuttles run approximately every 15 minutes. Be advised that shuttles are not accessible. See Event FAQs for information on accessible parking.
