Here's a video of me recording the creation of a new project in Unity 2022.3.52f1, importing UCC, creating a simple scene with an adventure character and getting this weird jump bug. A small animation issue I'm surprised I never saw before in UCC's climbing add-on. It can easily be fixed by setting this animation's end to 1 just like for the right version.

It might be worth mentioning that I tried changing GetLookVector's smoothed bool parameter to false, and it did not solve the issue. Quick video using Omni animations for entering and leaving the vehicle, and idle driving. There's a rotation issue caused by the camera when exiting the vehicle and a height offset I'll have to take care of.

This is definitely imperfect but it is the result of an evening of work ! These animations are the demo ones from Ultimate Seating Controller, I'll try replacing them with some from Omni another day. Also there's an issue with dithered vegetation and the player's legs when driving. Since the camera stays where it is when the player exits the vehicle, I had this sudden idea of trying a cinematic...

As I assume you both (you and the malbers) as I am as well ... not a native english speaker. For me it seems like the devs simple did not completely understand what you have been asking for because of of kind of language barrier. I had the same issue on many discord discussions. I did not check the fps issue yet, but I will try to.
Hi, I'm French but fluent in English, and while I believe Malbers is of Hispanic or Latin descent, his English remains mostly correct and he too must use it daily as a developer. The issue isn't there, if you watched the video or looked at the thread you can see that I repeated the same points clearly over and over again, and I think that "I know this may sound dumb, but could you please confirm whether your 240hz monitor feels much smoother than your 60hz one when playing a video game or just moving your mouse over your wallpaper ?" is a straightforward request in proper and simple English. What is quite revealing is that last month, a user offered a non-working fix for the issue, and Malbers completely ignored my past alerts and did not ask someone with a working high refresh rate monitor to test it for him, and instead said it was buttery smooth, still oblivious to the fact that his monitors couldn't display more than 60fps. After posting a new negative review (the latest one having been removed) and telling Malbers about it in DM, he once again completely ignored it. You can see this for yourself in his answer to my latest reviews for both of his controllers on the Asset Store. The issue isn't about poor communication from my part, and Malbers having a poor understanding of frame and refresh rates alone is not even the main issue - it's just that he didn't take what I told him seriously, handles criticism and negative feedback badly, and seems to have developed quite a dislike for me (and well so have I for him, but I'm still able to talk about technical issues normally). Lastly, if you want to take a look at the issue yourself, you will not able to if you have a 60hz monitor, or like Malbers have a high refresh rate monitor that is not working properly. If you're not sure about the latter, simply change your refresh rate to 60hz and then back to your max number, and see if by just moving your mouse around you can see some obvious difference in smoothness. If you do, then you should be able to see that the demo scenes of his controllers feel capped at 60 even if the actual framerate is much higher. You're the kind of over-entitled script kiddy that no one needs as a customer. You bought an asset for a few dollars that would take you months to develop yourself, if you even have those skills. UAS publishers make far less making assets than they would working normal game development jobs, do not charge for support, get blamed for countless unity bugs and project setup issues from their users (likely unity or your project settings are limiting input framerate), and people like you constantly accuse them of not caring about their work. Your the worst kind of human.
I really like it but the subtitles are to fast. I use synty polygon too.

Interesting video again thanks. Opsive really got to turn the default volume down on the footsteps 🤣 Are you using OBS? Have you tried their built in microphone input compressor, noise gate, and EQ (slightly lower bass and treble, slightly raise mids)? Really enhances voice recording and reduces hissing even on simple mics
Thanks, I'm indeed using OBS and should experiment with its filters some more. The big issue seems to be coming from my computer which has issues with recording no matter the input method, like if use the same mic on Audacity on my laptop and on another, the results are going to be worse on mine. And yeah I agree the default footsteps effect can be a bit annoying fast x)

Hi, do you mean the Omni or Opsive servers ? I'm not good at making animations myself, I really can't help with Blender, however I'm used to using various animations from Mixamo and the UAS in Unity's Animator, I can help on that front.
Bro that is the reason we gave up Opsive and starting using GKC (Game Kit Controller).
Hello, damn was it this specific bug that made you switch asset or rather the overall quantity of bugs ? Either way I should let you know that I helped Justin reproduce it and he got to the conclusion that the Auto Update Start Delay of 0 caused an event to be scheduled twice. You can look at the thread called «[Bug] Attribute Auto Update Value Type switching causes faster attribute changes» on the Opsive forum.
@@cheodarkpioupiou Hello. No it wasn't only because of Bugs that we switched. But GKC provides all the things we need in our project. So we can only use one asset (GKC) to make all the things we want. In case of Opsive we needed to use external assets as well to setup Mission or Dialogues. GKC has all in it provided! Plus the owner responds very quickly on its help section as compared to Justin. He takes days and weeks to fix that bug or for reply. One reply a day. And the GKC assest is very cheap as compared to Opsive. Its truly value for money. Overall we found GKC (Game Kit Controller) and its support super awesome. We covered up in less than 1.5-2 months of what we achieved with Opsive and other assets in 5-6 months).

Hi ! It’s very simple, if you want to add a rifle holster to your character’s back for example, just select his middle spine bone, create an empty child and attach the Object Identifier component to it. The ID of that component just needs to be the same as the Holster Target’s on your weapon prefab’s Third Person Perspective Item. Let me know if this helps ! Hey konnichiwa man, a few things about this feature : First, this is still a work in progress, the next big step is making this work with groups of enemies. Next, this took me a lot of time to make and I'm not willing to share the whole thing for free right now. Here is nonetheless a piece of code I shared on the forum about a year ago that can serve as a base for sound detection, search for the thread named "Accessing a MonoBehavior from Surface Effect" on the Opsive forum, you'll find it at the bottom (I think we're not allowed to post links in TH-cam comments). You may also look at the UCC BD sample scene and Deathmatch kit which I believe offer basic sound detection, although I don't like the way the BD task handles that. I can show you my scripts and ai trees and help you with this in paid live support, feel free to reach out to me in Discord DM if you're interested. Lastly, you may also make a request for this in my tutorial thread on the Opsive forum, maybe I'll consider it if others are interested. Thanks for watching !

Doing this tutorial again, finally have it about 95% working.. but I don't know how to turn the flashlight on or off. I have to manually enable the light in the Hierarchy. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

at 3:28 you have a value 10000 for a Flashlight Holster for third person. Did you add that value somehow? My UCC 3.0.20 doesn't include it.
Hi, yeah I must have added that one. The quickest way to create an id value is to type a name at the top and click Add.

The Move Towards Location component at 1:05 contains a start point and a Yaw Offset (represented by an arrow) giving a direction for the character to face. So it's not working properly and I've sent this to the devs. Thanks for watching mate :p
