Its world coruption when you play on an old map thats been updated to a more recent vershion that happends I play on a map that is years in the making and have sean those gliches not to far from my base

You should make a tutorial for the Ghast farm
So Silentwisperer already has a tutorial on this farm, I just had to modify it to work for 1.21. Because of that I feel like I would be stealing his design if I made my own tutorial on it. I may create a video explaining how to fix it though

I think you just have a good pickaxe but I might be wrong. The only solution I could think of is making a copy of the world and playing on that, this has happened to me once on a 1 week survival world but when I ignored it, it just kept getting worse and lagging out the game. Only fixing when I made a copy of the world. Yet again you could just have a broken pickaxe.
The pickaxe is really good but no pickaxe should be good enough to instantly mine wood. I also tested this on other things like logs and it seems to only insta mine wooden slabs.

@@CaptainEggnog21Search up petrified wood slabs and you'll know instantly why you mined it so fast with a pickaxe.
@@ripted Yeah I’ve seen those before but they are only a creative item and this work is 100% survival
No pickaxe is faster at breaking wood than hands, those slabs are petrified oak slabs, which acts like stone slabs and were normal slabs in older versions
