I been called a hypocrite by Muslims yet Allah knows I am Muslim who been praying for the past 24 years even while doing haram things… subhanallah life is a test indeed!!! The title caught my attention plus TH-cam recommended this. ❤I am a sinner yes but hypocrite I don’t think so 😂❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉today 11/28/2024 I am so happy and I couldn’t careless who calls me a hypocrite because Allah got my back and He has all these 24 years Alhamdulillah ❤🎉❤

Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu. As long as the shoes had nothing impure on them, at the time of Rasulullah (saw), the Muslims would pray in their shoes (this was before carpets) on an earthen surface. Once carpets became the standard inside the Masajid, shoes were removed to keep them clean and free from damage. However, to continue the practice of the Sunnah, khuffain (or leather socks) can be worn inside when praying, or Muslims can take the opportunity to pray in shoes when outdoors in parks or at the beach. As for "thanksgiving," some may get the family together because everyone is off work-- so the intent is not necessarily about celebrating a non-Islamic holiday, but the practicality of the situation. This was my thinking at one time. For the last few years, however, i've tried to fast (fisabilAllah) on that day, choosing to distinguish myself from Christians and those who (essentially) practice gluttony on that day. However, it's quite challenging when all of one's family is not Muslim, and they're getting together to share a meal. Thankfully, Allah (swt) in His infinite Mercy judges us by our intentions.

Families of Prophets are Not Exempt from Judgment Even the family of the Prophets are not exempt from this. Simply being related to or close to a Prophet does not mean that a person is by default a believer, a good person, or destined for Paradise. If a relative of a Prophet doesn’t believe in Allah or does evil deeds, they will be punished in the Hereafter, and their familial connection to the prophet will not be of any help to them. Allah specifically mentions that this is the case for the wives of Prophet Noah and Prophet Lot: Allah sets forth an example for the disbelievers: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. Each was married to one of Our righteous servants, yet betrayed them. So their husbands were of no benefit to them against Allah whatsoever. Both were told, “Enter the Fire, along with the others!” (Qur’an 66:10) Abu Lahab, the uncle of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), was also condemned to Hell in the Qur’an because of his disbelief. (Qur’an 111:1-5) This illustrates the extent of Allah’s Justice; it would be very unfair to grant people Paradise just because they are related to a Prophet, regardless of their actions in life.
