I think the biggest disappointment is when the Vorlons turned psychotic.

Usually as kids we never tought about cartoons endings because we expected a new season, or the ending was never made clear, or they got canceled out of the blue. The fact that this one said goodbye and felt like it had finality really broke my heart years ago

I heard talks about making the show again. I don’t remember what that was and when they were looking at doing it. But imagine what they could do with the show with modern technology. It could be incredible. As well, imagine what these ships would look like with modern cinema technology.

One thing i've wondered for 27 years, at "and God help all of us" when did Mars gain a moon?!?

It always seemed weird to me that First One ships really aren’t that much more powerful, or resistant to getting destroyed, than those of the Younger Races. Also, that the Vorlons, despite their fixation with order, didn’t sneak system overrides into the White Stars.

Bad tactic having a line of ships where most of your ships are not on the line of combat .. you should have all ships on the line of combat so the full force of your firepower can be felt simultaneously..

How can a series from the 90's deliver such cool space battles while we get crap like The Acolyte from Star Wars (!)?

No matter what Batman Never Dies. Because what makes a superheroes immortality is the love of the fans and The Inspirations they leave behind for us. Because in the real world you just can't keep a good guy down

Of all the starships in Babylon 5 this one is my favorite

When regular battle tactics no longer apply and you have to think outside the box.

"Friends" came on at the same time as "Babylon 5" so I never gave it a chance. <3 great to see the old Chaos Lounge :)

When Babylon 5 came out I was enthralled by the sight of nimble fighters causing havoc on giant ships that fired slow moving guns. Then, the Battlestar Galactica reboot and later the Expanse showed sending small crafts toward high density, accurate and fast point defense system is just suicide.

How did they missed their shots at slow, almost static, targets from such a close range?

Battle of the Line: the Minbari used their superior jump tech to use the jump energy to tear apart the last remaining Eearth ships jumbled up together. Battle for Mars: the Earth ships jumbled up together even though they know they are facing the Minbari who used the jump tactic to destroy their fleet in the last war...

"We don't need assistance!" "That's nice, we're still attacking this unescorted enemy battlecruiser."

Needless to say...the Vorlons whooped their butt :)

Seeing the Shadow vessels get their butts shot off by the Vorlon ships gives me a sense of satisfaction. They'd been going around destroying everyone in their path acting all cocky like they owned outer space but then the Vorlons show up and kick THEIR butts while showing that the Shadows were NOT invincible.

I’ve binged this show like…3 times by now. They really don’t make ‘em like they used to.

I wonder if the shadow destroyers had a person wired into the controls like the shadows crabs did. I can well imagine someone in engineering stuck in some sort of obelisk, like a living computer, with a normal bridge crew.

This seems very random, like a fan-made wish of a battle. Certainly, I don't remember it.

I wish they re-make this show. With the current special effects it would be fantastic.

If he hadn't delayed when Kosh said "Jump. Jump now" then maybe he would have had more than 20 years.

My question is whether Kosh knew there was a chance to break the cycle? He clearly predicted that Sheridan would be tempted to go to Z'ha'dum and planned to go with him (possibly to save his life). Anna said the Shadows had a premonition that if Vorlon technology landed on Z'ha'dum they would be destroyed. So not sure they'd allow Kosh to attend. But clearly he knew that Lorien was down the pit, waiting.

Getting to see the chaos from a Starfury or Thunderbolt pilots cockpit just makes me shiver. The sheer chaos.

Those fighter pilots should have taken off rather than fix against the Shadows.

If they wanted to keep Kosh's death a secret, then his ship sailing into the sun wouldn't be the way to do it. Maybe it was a metaphor and it went into hyperspace just after this scene. Strangely, the Shadows should have spread rumors of Kosh being killed to undermine the alliance, but they didn't.

The Advanced Omega Class Destroyers are a JOKE. WHO the right mind put a launching bay AT THE FRONT OF THE NOSE. Nice design. Zero protection what so ever.
