Thank you very much! It's great place to stop when traveling between NSW and VIC. Beechworth is a nice, historic town too, unfortunately I didn't have enough time to film anything as it was getting dark after I finished the walk.

I left West Fjords and Landmannalaugar for my next, 4x4 adventure in Iceland :) I'd say you probably need +14 days itinerary to include West Fjords in it, as the roads there are much slower going I imagine.

Yeah, all main trails along the Mount Hay rd in this part of Blue Mountains (Butterbox, Lockleys Pylon and Fortress Ridge) are some of my personal favourites. I used to go Wentworth Falls at least 1-2 times a year and do Wentworth Pass or National Pass but I rarely go there these days, it's not the same if can't do the loop hike :)

Yeah I heard they finished with the upgrades couple of months ago. This is definitely still on our to-do-list. We wanted to do the same track as you did, but Wolgan Road has collapsed and Glow Worm Tunnel Rd. was undergoing upgrades at the time. Looking forward to going back there and do the same loop as you did.

I was really surprised that even though it was a weekend, we have seen less than 10 people on the trail throughout the day. We will be definitely going back there, Blue Gum Forest is amazing!💚

Hey Louisa, yeah I agree 100%, Red Track surely is a candidate for the best day hike in NSW (although I haven't been to the summit of Castle and Byangee Walls in Budawangs yet:) and I'm super keen to revisit this place with someone who actually knows the trail or bigger group... I think with more people it would be so much faster to find correct ways.

@@PavoTreks Sydney bush walking club are good . I think they have a TH-cam channel called Lots of Fresh Air .Looking forward to watch more of your videos .

@@PavoTreks They do off the beaten track hikes which you need good experience and they have overnight hikes where you need reasonable amount of hiking experience . If you are a beginner there are other bush walking clubs you can join .

Here's what uncle Google suggests: Melbourne to Halls Gap 1. Train from Southern Cross Station to Ballarat Station, departing at 8:24am and arriving at 10:01am. 2. Bus from Ballarat Station to Stawell Station, departing at 10:21am and arriving at 12:02pm. 3. Bus from Stawell Station to Halls Gap Information Centre, departing at 12:42pm and arriving at 1:37pm.
