In 2011, I set out on my first trekking tour to Scandinavia. Since then, my life has revolved around traveling, especially hiking through untouched nature. Since then I have been on the road a lot in Norway, Sweden, Finland or Iceland. Even Central European and Northern African hiking areas were not safe from me.
In 2015, I fulfilled a long-standing dream and hiked from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail.
This channel is about backpacking, budget travelling, minimalism and hiking. I will post videos about gear, food, destinations, trails, lifestyle and whatever comes to my mind.

Rondane Trekking - Summer solo hiking in Norway 2024 - Part 2

In 2024 I once again travelled to Norway for my summer vacation. After a few days of almost constant rain I decided to change my original plan of hiking on to Breheimen. Fresh snow was reported to fall every day in Breheimen. Even though I like snow, I was unsure whether I would be able to cope with my equipment in the unfamiliar terrain when it snowed. So, while lying in my tent to avoid the heavy rain, I checked the weather reports in the other national parks in the region. To be honest, the weather looked pretty bad almost everywhere. But in Rondane, two days of sunshine were reported! So I decided to return to the national park I had already visited in 2022. What can I say? I had sunshine! But also a lot of wind and rain, but the weather was definitely better than in Jotunheimen and I was even able to use a particularly good day to climb a few mountains!

The landscapes of Rondane are magnificent, so mineral and powerful. Thank you for sharing your trek with us. Your videos are always very good. The little dog you see next to my name has already gone with me to the Rondane massif and her ears were flying in the wind 😉.Greetings from France.
There really is something very magical about them. I love being there, Rondane is so different from the other national parks in the area.

Absolute Empfehlung, weil ganz anders als die Nationalparks drum herum. Ich glaube, Rondane ist neben Lofotodden mein Lieblingsnationalpark in Norwegen!

@@hikinghermit Von wo bist du ungefähr gestartet? Ich kenne nur die Seite Richtung Lom/Jotunheimen.
@@johannes6769 ich bin in Otta gestartet und dann durch Rondane und Dovre gelaufen. Den Eingang zum Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella-Nationalpark hab ich dann in Hjerkinn genommen, da kommt man auch per Bahn hin.

Amazing nice sound. I recommend you visit the himalayan mountains k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place. When you guys want to come, be sure to get in touch. And make sure to enjoy this sound. The complete update about the journey and route of this mountain is fully written in the description of my video. You can watch it right there on my channel۔ That's why I recommended Moses Pack to you. Because I myself have climbed this mountain many times every year with tourists. More than seven times. Because it goes up this mountain path from my village and I know these paths very well
