Loved Bills stories and insights. Passion for life. I always knew he was something special. I almost cried when I saw Izzy choking back tears on ATH. He will be greatly missed that’s for sure.

I told a story about BW calling a Pac-10 at Night game. The only thing I remember was that it was in Tucson. I think it was USC-Arizona. I was in a hotel somewhere, in the middle of a long road trip. I was tired. I was pissed. I had turned the TV on with the intention of turning it right back off. The game was a snoozer. BW must've been on painkillers that night (and no one would blame him if he was), but he was feeling no pain... 😂...He rambled on about everything from law to being at the beach and nature hikes, and I don't think I stopped laughing from beginning to end. What's more, whoever the PxP was laughed so hard that the game just sort of got played without narrative while Bill Walton entertained us with his quirky tales of wonder and woe. Funny he mentioned 'shrooms in your segment, because that's what it felt like listening to him. He wasn't just a good man, he was a great commuicator. Sports has had its share of intellectuals, but few with that kind of humor and spunk to go with it. I can only imagine if BW had been part of that "Inside the NBA" team - holy moly!... 🤯...Especially with Barkley!...May you be on your way to that moss filled forest in the sky, Bill Walton. Thank you sir for the memories, the wit, and the inspiration...And thanks for sharing, DA...

It's unfortunate that I was too young when he play in his early years, I just remember him playing this one game with the Celtics in the mid 80's against the Lakers and just remember him as this big red headed guy wearing # 5, anyways that's how I remember him, people like him with that personality and spirit should be granted to live longer because 71 it's still too young to leave, may he rest in peace. 👍🏀

You know, this will be John Fisher's 3rd stadium as an owner - PacBell Park, Earthquakes Park, and now Vegas ballpark. MLB is going to put the A's in Vegas by 2029, even if they force Fisher to sell to a Vegas investor

Oh, yes. For The Record Steve Hill. CEO of the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority. No financial shenanigans there! Ungh, ungh! (Tesla Tube, anybody?)...The numbers never worked for that stadium (Jiffy Pop Ballpark, Giant Siopao, whatever you wanna call it). Unless...Fisher and MLB were planning to put gaming devices inside the stadium and collect the revenue, or, be completely comingled with the host casino, which I am pretty sure is a violation of MLB's bylaws, and probably NGC and Federal regs as well. And if MLB massages their gambling policies to allow that, I guarantee that tenuous antitrust exemption goes away. Which opens up a whole new world of litigation. Fun, fun...DA, you should ask the Last Dive Bar and 68 dudes what they plan to do with their "Las Vegas A's" and "Las Vegas Athletics" trademarks... 😂...If MLB isn't horrified at that level of stupidity by the A's, I shudder to think what the other teams are capable of...

I’m now just seeing this, and my first reaction to the Giants’ 1925 throwbacks was that they look like the Montreal Canadiens. There are tier lists being shared on TierMaker ranking every NFL team’s jerseys for 2024 (including the 4 teams with new jersyes), and the fun part is that they’re all different in their own way. If you ever get bored, or just don’t have any ideas for new content, then I hope this will help you in the future.

I dont care if they play in panty hose as long as they win.... but these uniforms are DUMB LOOKING.... and they have nothing to do with the history of the franchise... it has to do with making money by sealing these one offs. The only consolation is that these uniforms may match their hideous play or take your attention away from it. Maybe they can win a Stanley Cup?
