This is almost my last video before this truck goes up for sale. It's been a great ride and thanks to all the subscribers that stayed on the journey. I'm looking forward to my next project. Maybe something a little cheaper this time. LOL

Great design with dual sprinkler valves. Overkill for Schedule 80 PVC but your weak point is the Sprinkler valve as a switch. The Rain Bird sprinkler max pressure rated is 150psi. Need to use the custom made piston valve for max flow.
Hey brother, Just found your channel while prepping for my first H1, is there any chance you're going to do a HVAC relocation? Also, is there any reason you turned off comments on the H1 videos, I'd love to ask questions as you work on the project. Thanks again for the helpful and informative videos.
Craftsman quality. Ty for sharing something that obviously was well planned.
This guy is obviously a democrat because he is always mentioning American made. You to to like it.
Do you have instructions on how to make this?
after 2 weeks of sobriety, I see this cool looking thing
nice work!!! What sensor do you use? Drop link please
Hi there! This is awesome! My 4 kids and I would love to make this for my hubby for Father’s Day. You did a great job on this product and it’s great quality (which is what he likes) and you made it yourself (which is what he loves). Do you have a list of all the fittings that I can try to purchase and then we can work on this project with him? Thanks in advance for your help!
Thank you so much for the comment. I didn't really make a list. The first one I made over time and bought parts as I needed them. It took me a couple of months to make the first one. Most of the stuff came from McMaster Carr, Home Depot, Michaels, eBay and Amazon. Some of the parts I made or modified myself since I have a machine shop. Without the machine shop this would be a difficult project to duplicate. I'm not sure how to advise you from here. My video describes most of the parts that I used. Maybe try to make a list from that. Some of the steps like drilling the hole in the glass takes some finesse and the wooden lid will need a lathe to fabricate. Maybe you could put your own spin on it and come up with different options. Parts today will run you about $350-$400. I still have the second one from the video. If you have an interest I can make you a great deal on it.
@@jurgenscott8430 let me know whats great deal is like. im interested.
Hi! It’s me again! We don’t get this make this last year but was going to try again this year if I can. Do you still have the second one available? Let me know! I’ll check back in to see if you are able to respond.
Some fittings in this launcher appear to be drain rated rather than pressure rated (reducing coupler at back end). Use only pressure rated components (those are normally marked NSF-pw). Definitely wear safety glasses and avoid pressurizing in too hot or cold ambient temperatures as the PVC safe pressure rating drops quickly or the material becomes brittle. Safe launching.
Nope. All the reducers are Schedule 80 pressure rated to 150 PSI.
@@jurgenscott8430 According to ASTM specs a 150 psi 4" fitting would not be schedule 80 pressure rated. ASTM D2467-04e1 requires 4" pressure rated PVC fittings to have a minimum working pressure rating of 194 psi and a minimum burst pressure rating of 1110 psi at 73 degrees F. Have fun and be safe.
@@alanb76 You might be right. Who knows. I sold that thing to a golf company in Florida almost a decade ago and haven't heard anything bad. All must be good.
Awesome! When I was a kid we built one using a combustion chamber running Right Gaurd as the fuel. We got 400 to 500 yds easy by wrapping the golf balls with strips of shop paper towels (the type that tear in strips along the seams). This design is little inefficient since the golf ball has a lot of air gap around the diameter. Try wrapping it in something to make the fit tighter and loading it with a ramrod like a muzzle loader. I bet you get 800 yds out of it!
Does anyone have a written out parts list that I can look at?
Early on in the comments there is a list for most all of it from McMaster-Carr. One of the two dispensers in the video is up for sale for $300 plus shipping.
Do you have any specs on your internal mod’s to the sprinkler valves?
I don't really have any specs but I put the valve bodies on a mill and machined out a large area to increase air flow. Similar to porting a head on an engine.
Haha it almost took out that bird
Someone plays too much fallout
After my 1st dispenser, then i switched to this idea as well, 1st wanted to try out my original way.
Nice. Can i buy one
Thank you but I'm not making any more of these right now. Back then it was $300 in parts and several hours in labor so the selling price was about $750 plus the shipping which has also gone through the roof. With the cost of materials today even if I could get all of the plastic right now would be double in price.
As far as the cap goes and not be the same for all bottles Can you incorporate those shot pour caps with the spout on them like the use at the bar ? They sell them at most grocery stores Walmart and package stores
I tried those also but they have a breather hole in them so they leak all over.
Been looking for a video like this one… you’re awesome, thanks !
What is the kinetic energy you are getting could it be used in self-defense against their zombie or something it like 25-30 yards
A hit to the head at 25-30 yards would probably kill your zombie.

I can’t find any 1 1/2 of an inch sdr-26 pvc pipe anyway where. Where do I find it?
I found mine at Ace Hardware.
So far 27 hardware or home supply stores including major parts house chains either doesn’t have or can’t get 1 1/2” SDR-26 pvc
Do you have any suggestions ?
Does it have to be SDR-26 ?
It's basically 1-1/2" schedule 20 pipe. You definitely need it for the close fit around the ball. Try a sprinkler supply. I don't know if you have a Turf Irrigation or something like that around you. @@timothywingo4242
Das ist voll stark.
Danke schoen.
Not a fan of light changing when you dispense the alcohol. Anyway to fix that?
Cool build! Is it ok to use brass fittings for the parts that come in contact with the liquid? compatibility is not good for ethyl alcohol and you could also have lead contamination
All the brass fittings are lead free and rated for use with drinking water. Ethyl Alcohol penetration in its purest concentration is less than 20 mils per year. We will be dead from something else long before that is an issue.
I like the way it turns on by touch in it. Will make something like this
Where did you get the silicone and Teflon gaskets?
I bought the material and the arch punches from Mcmaster-Carr
@@JScott-wz2ug I found the punches but I can’t find the gasket material.
Can I purchase one from you?
Would you perhaps be able to put up a link to that touch sensor you used? And does that sensor only work with a low voltage circuit or higher one from mains as well?
The sensor is designed for 120 volts. www.homedepot.com/p/Westek-Indoor-Wire-In-3-Level-Touch-Dimmer-Replacement-6503BC/100376048?MERCH=REC-_-searchViewed-_-NA-_-100376048-_-N&

You combined my two favorite things to do. Golf and launching projectiles. Schedule 80 or your making a pvc grenade.
Brother upload the making video step by step and the items details also
I want to build something that can get a golf ball flying around 1500 feet per second any suggestions with 3-inch groups at a hundred yards
Probably never going to happen. Each ball leaves the barrel with different characteristics. Even if you could achieve that kind of velocity you would be lucky to hit 50 foot groups at 100 yards.
Now you just need a piece of foam and a tungsten dart
Try 2-3 balls at the same time...
Do you see these if so text me
take my money! can I pay you to make one for me?
My shop Rate is $85 per/hr. With parts and labor I'm pretty sure you don't want to pay $2000 for a golf ball launcher.
Jurgen, Thank you again. I am unable to find the 3/8 x 4 1/2 " eybolt anyware. Do you have a resource for them.? I have everything else and cant wait to start.
I got them from McMaster Carr. Almost all the parts came from there. here is a link to the item. www.mcmaster.com/90172A639
Awesome idea and great job. I am going to try and make this for my son. Thank you for the parts list. I think I have almost all of the parts. My only question is the tubing size. Thank you again.
Sorry for the delay. The tubing is 3/8"
Hablas mucho! Y no se ve de inicio como ensamblas las piezas
great vid ty for making it. could you post parts list. i tried writing down as i watched but probably missed a couple of things. thx agian
Check one of my earlier replies. I posted a parts list in there.
Are you selling these at the moment? I am interested in buying one.
Hello Jurgen. There are considerable technicalities in making this cannon. Is there any way you can show it step by step or sending me the blueprint? I am old and nowhere near smart and technical like you. Can you please assist me in building this cannon. Thanks. Tony from Australia.
Hi Tony. I don't have any blueprints for this and I already sold the one in the video. The video description is probably the best outline of the project. It's really just a bunch of fittings and glue. There was some machine work needed to build the adapters and the valve needed a fitting installed and the solenoid opening needed to be epoxied shut. I did some porting on the inside of the valve but looking back it probably didn't have any added value. If you showed my video to any local pipe fitter or plumber they should be able to assist you. Also I don't think you can get a tennis ball to go 500 yards. It's way too light and there is too much wind resistance. Now if you filled the tennis ball with concrete then we could probably figure something out.
Hello Jurgen. I love your work. the problematic issue is that for beginners like me, you have to build it step by step to understand how its done. Alternatively, Is it possible to purchase it from you. I am after the same thing, but fire tennis ball 500 yards. Best Regards, Tony from Australia.
Hello, I am retired, I am 71 years old and my current hobby is fishing. Can this cannon launch 300 yahds with a weight of 300 grams? Thanks. Geraldo
Probably not. A golf ball only weighs about 45 grams. But whatever you are launching I'm sure something could be built.

Thanks for the video! In the parts list, I don’t see the parts that the stainless steel tubing gets inserted into. What are those please?
They are Swagelok fittings. The straight is a SS-600-1-8 and the elbow is a SS-600-2-8. Best to source these on ebay. If you go to a Swagelok dealer the two fittings will run you $44 plus tax. Parker, Bi-Lok and Ham-Let also make identical fittings but I don't have a cross reference. These are available in brass also. McMaster-Carr sells short sections of thin wall stainless tubing at a reasonable price.
