Water pressure experiment #physicsexperiment
In this experiment the container has 3 holes at different depths and water coloured with food dye is poured into the container. Each hole shows a different pressure due to these depths. Suitable as a demo for KS3, GCSE and A-Level Physics lessons.

Looks like something is not consistent with the jet openings maybe. Have you heard of torricelli's equation and torricelli's law. I believe they both predict that the jets should all meet and form a parabola. There is a good link to be drawn here between projectile motion, the 4th suvat (I.e. torricelli's equation) and torricelli's law (which is a special case of bernoulli's principle).

To be honest we don't know what these cloths are. They came from our sister school and they are amazing. Weaved but unknown!

Not only the heat conduction but also the weight of the metal plays role. When ice melts , volume of melted water is less than the volume of ice. So when a heavy weight is on the ice the pressure is high which helps to melt fast.
