My first ever Doom experience. In the 2000s we had a Nintendo DS for a bit until me and my sister fought over it for who gets to play it while we grabbed both ends, pulling till it broke like 9Volt and his friend did from Wario Ware Smooth Moves. We were obviously upset so our parents got us a GBA SP to replace the broken DS (they might've bought it from someone in town but idk) and that GBA SP came with this, a crash bandicoot kart racer and some other game I forgot if not those being the only two. Good times till we managed to buy the DSi and I don't remember what happened to that GBA. Probably given away to someone else.

This might look primitive to the younger people here, but at the time, it was mind-blowing how this game worked so well on the GBA. Overall, it was a solid port.

Oh my god... I remember having this when I was so, so so young. Too young to care about reading or understand any of the pickup messages. I never got past the first few rooms in the first mission, and literally the only thing I have any memory of is the weird green goop on the floor and the pig noises the enemies made in that one chamber

The sound of the Genesis version is, by far, one of the best, not because sound similar to the original, but because it makes it more gruesome! Long live the genesis versions!

Super fun game, Doom II is good for GBA too.

If you use the GameCube adapter you can make it like they released Doom on GameCube!
